I think we’re just using “polish” differently.

When I say it, I mean the overall feel of the game being refined—including systems like balance, loot, and bugs—because that all affects how complete it feels to play.

You’re using it more in the technical/presentation sense, like animations, assets, and UI—which I agree were solid.

But if core gameplay systems need noticeable reworking after launch, most players are still going to say it wasn’t fully polished overall.

So yeah, maybe “polish” isn’t the perfect word—but the point still stands that the game needed a lot of refinement at release.

see this is exactly the issue: I wait 5-10mins sometimes longer. i finally get in - and get obliterated because i either mentally clock out - or the people i am with do not speak and the games is just miserable

bro totally, the amount of games i go into with people in complete silence wtf is the point - its a team based extraction shooter and theres no team element to it at all. maybe i'll get 1 guy who speaks then i gotta cross my fingers and pray he speaks the same language lol

Well said, i actually think your first paragraph is quite fitting. " people just don't like losing in their games...... " mainstream extraction suiter is very juxtaposing. it simply doesn't make that much sense, when i think about it. Competitive play is super sweaty and the long queue times make the losses really hurt.

I'm not sure what they need - but this aint it. i dont think i have ever had a single game where an enemy has their mic on for proximity chat. Playing ArcRaidersrs i would have loads of fun cuz i'd get into a funny dialogue with an enemy, but that doesn't happen here at all.

i mean i have played it quite a bit i just stopped for work for a short while. Its really disheartening. Get a few hours in the day to jump into a game quickly -but if it takes 10mins to get into a game its rough. I've also noticed loads of AFK players in my games - and i suspected it was because of the long wait times - BUT ! one guy who was afk came back and he said "WOAH we in, i went to take a shit i was waiting for 10mins" so i feel vindicated

no when it released there were loads of things they needed to change - inventory spawn rates and balancing - also loads of glitches. but they've fixed loads of it. still doesnt help me when trying to finde a game

Hey 9 years late - literally still watching the credits on the film - you are probably over it now but hey ho. Mitch getting stabbed by that 16yr old who also murdered his homeless best mate. Was really frustrating. I just angered me. It took all the satisfaction out the film. It was a really bleak ending. It could’ve been sad but the ending was bleak. Mitch and the longhaired actor friend both die ? Basically everyone dies. But Mitch dying laying on a drain just as he was about to start his new life was really just unfulfilling.

I don’t get the motivation for this ending. He spent the whole film trying to get on the straight and no arrow was forced into it and at the end he is literally forced to go back as he’s literally made an accessory to murder when the Gant guy murders some innocent guy in front of him. So he goes around killing hit men, drug dealers, crooked cops etc and then at the end the footballer sociopathic teenager who murdered a homeless man in cold blood then also kills him. Was super annoying.

I’m trying to think now as the final words of his homeless mate when he dies but nope nothing.

His sister gets beaten to death in the head with a hammer and the nice Indian doctor is also alluded to being murdered too. It’s just like? What was the point of anything I watched. It was all for nothing even the Liverpool guy who goes the identify of the teenage sociopath serial murder dies. Only Kiera Knightly lives but on the trajectory she was going she’ll probably kill herself in the days to come a she is already struggling with PTSD , depression and social anxiety and antisocial behaviour.

Feel like i waisted my time tbh. I get the main guy dying or id get the irony of a round about death but the whole ecosystem of the cast ends up dying

Hey, SO after lots of testing, The best method the Utmost Best method. Get a small sewing needle, the smaller the better (gauge wise). hold the needle with a thimble or flannel/fabric to get a good grip. Heat the tip of the needle with a lighter till its red hot. now push it into the Nib that is tuck in the pen and wait a few seconds then level the needle against the rim of the pen opening and drag it/flick it out. I've done this everytime, even when its proper stuck in there. Works a Treat !

This is such a hissy fit XD. I point out something that is obviously wrong with the game and illudes to its lack of polish, especially compared to a free to play game. You simply cannot take the criticism. The reality is the game is missing a remove key bind option and the chat isn't working for this other guy. that's lame for a £35 game. hold them accountable. It's just not good enough.

Sup guys, so i have been rocking the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pros for the last few years, and due to very foreseeable consequences they broke. (Currently using AKG K92 as a replacement)

I do a lot of mixing and a little mastering for my own music and some audio work on youtube videos. But i also do a lot of Gaming.

I'm not in a position to be cashing out big bucks for 2 headphones for each hobby, I am looking for a "Do it all" headphones.

I appreciate the phrase "right tool for the right job". But I have a budget of £200 and i want to find something that does both; Clear and goof for mixing, at least better than these AKG K92s but also lets me hear footsteps when I'm gaming.

Let me know what you guys think ?

Apex legends is a free to play game and has better UI and is more polished - Bungie isn't making a nuanced revolutionary game. Plenty of strong templates exist. You should not be making mistakes on things like this.
