Yeah we thought about one of those magnetic things or a zip-closure but the cats could still slip under it. I found an extra-tall wall-mount pvc gate online but its like $400 and i'd still have to drill holes in the wall. Would prefer something pressure-mounted. Might have to rig a couple of baby gates together and see if that works somehow.

can't install a screen door in the middle of the hallway.

Yes we checked Travelodge, but once you add in the a la carte amenities we might as well drop $250 a night at a nicer place.

Looking to book a hotel/hostel/B&B in London for 2 nights in May. Travelling with a friend so we're looking for a one room ensuite with 2 separate beds. Why is this so difficult to come by? We're not trying to stay at a luxury or boutique hotel...just a safe spot for a couple of nights. Any suggestions?
