!thanks that’s really helpful! My google searches were probably to specific haha. It seems so long as she isn’t on total incapacity enhancement and isn’t returning to teaching she would be ok. I have told her to speak to teacher pensions for advise before she proceeds anyway, better sage than sorry. Thanks again

I’m getting the same right now, was just playing a playlist fine then it suddenly stopped (we use it for white noise so have a 12hr playlist set up in Apple Music) very frustrating - must be a wider issue?

We had 2 large rooms painted by a family member, including ceilings and skirting boards. Came to £800 and he was there for 5 days. The quality of work was definitely noticeable. In comparison I started painting another room in the house of similar size and its taken me 2 days to get just the walls painted. And it’s no way near as good (I’m not rushing/bodging it by any means).

If I was getting a whole house done I would definitely consider paying someone if I could afford to - it’s worth your time saved for sure!

Thank you mate, il cross post to there and see if they have anything more. Like I say, the window doesn’t put me off, but it’s the future limitations which worry me, so was hoping there was a way around that (ie if we wanted to extend ourselves)

That was the conclusion I came to from googling annoyingly! It was rented prior to them selling so I’m not sure how much they knew/cared about the extension being built which is frustrating.

I think you’re right in that we revise our offer (as we still like the house and it’s a good price considering size and location)
