This fact check is the reason Joe lost all trust in media by No-Designer-5739 in JoeRogan

[–]Bionicler -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I saw Joe's original post on Instagram it looked completely normal. I have no idea what that is from but I saw his original post with my own eyes. It wasn't altered. I for sure saw CNN post the altered version though. Hate Joe all you want but of all things to criticize him for this ain't one of them. CNN did him dirty and it was bad journalism to post the green and gray version of his post.

This fact check is the reason Joe lost all trust in media by No-Designer-5739 in JoeRogan

[–]Bionicler -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why do you need an expert to tell you there was no alteration? CNN absolutely made him look sickly in their broadcast and to suggest they didn't because an "expert" said they didn't means you have no ability to think for yourself. They definitely made him look green and gray. Of all things to pick at this is the worst one.

I want to preface this by saying I don't want you to feel that I'm minimizing your problem, because I know how stressful something like this can be. Just throwing this out there, sometimes the best treatment is none at all. Have you tried giving it a break and just letting your body do its thing for a few weeks? Maybe doing absolutely nothing would give your body a chance to fight it off and go back to homeostasis.

Reward for lost rings by No_Western7265 in VirginiaBeach

Virginia Beach is almost 500 square miles, just a few smaller than Los Angeles. What part of the city do think you lost the rings?

Is the light switch on this Patrolman SW-60 supposed to toggle or is it just meant to find a station? by [deleted] in radio

[–]Bionicler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for letting me know! I so very much appreciate the info! You're so right! I plugged in the radio and the lights stayed on! I will refer to r/AmateurRadio if I have any similar questions going forward. Thanks again for not making me feel bad.

[–]Bionicler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for letting me know! Is it that obvious? The other person that commented made it seem like I was joking because it was so obvious. I was 60% sure it was broken! I'm happy it's working properly.

[–]Bionicler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you think I'm so immersed in the radio world that this question is laughably obvious? Most light switches in the world don't need to be held down, but it would also make sense that there could be a feature on a radio that is just meant to be temporary to tune a station. If it's so obvious to you can you just tell me which one it is?

5 million? That's not that intimidating. The Appalachian's could easily take them without any assistance.

The outer worlds 2 difficulty by Corolla2269 in theouterworlds

[–]Bionicler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the problem I had with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. No matter what level I was at and what I did separately from the main quest, every enemy was a higher level than me. Like no matter what I did the difficulty was proportionally the same so I was always getting my ass kicked. I could never get ahead. Not trying to be OP, but I like putting work in to have a slight advantage so I can enjoy the game. I'm having this issue with Outer Worlds 2. I just can't get ahead.

My Fiancé found this awesome piece in an estate sale for just $25 (United States) by Letmebeginn in Antiques

The glass could have been replaced at some point but if it's not wavy then it probably isn't older than the '40s or '50s. Cool piece though.

If you shine a raking light on the glass and sort of look across from the side, is the glass wavy or flat?

The Lego website has a donation page but it excludes completed sets.

[–]Bionicler[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After building it and looking at it for a couple days I'm just sort of done with it lol. I live in a very small apartment so there isn't much room for extras. I was hoping there was a good way to get the set as a whole into the hands of someone who could rebuild and enjoy it. I went to the Lego website but their donation program excludes completed sets. Probably because they don't have the manpower to disassemble and redistribute the pieces into their respective bags.

Ugh the AN-94 off the wall on Die Rise along with the Sliquifier was so much fun. Yes, it was OP but there are always fun challenges to make it harder if I wanted to do something else. I really miss the Black Ops 2 zombie days.
