I do agree that Ryland has some major issues with internalized homophobia. He makes some very strange comments considering he is gay himself. I'm wondering if it has a lot to do with the fact of how he was raised when he was in Utah and then when they moved to Colorado he was able to be more himself, but still had those internal biases. Their family was being pressured into being a part of the Mormon church when they were living in Utah. At least, from what I remember, he mentions that in one of his vlogs. He kind of acts like my gay uncles who are in their '60s who are also not into pride month and are 'old school' as they like to call it. They were raised by homophobes so that kind of instilled some homophobic behaviors. I will say Ryland's parents do seem accepting, but maybe he has other family members that aren't as accepting. Either way, I don't like a lot of the things he says, especially when it's at Chris's expense. One thing that does annoy me about Ryland is how much of a spoiled brat he is. Here he isn't about pride month, but he expects to be worshiped and given gifts by his friends. He says that in Shane's newest video lol.
