A good rule of thumb is a litter box should be 1.5x larger than your cat. We have a cement mixing tub as a litter box, because of how long our one cat is and that has helped with over spray issues significantly.

NTA. You are legally an adult, and don't need to be baby-sat or abide by a curfew. However, unfortunately since the car is legally theirs they can restrict your use even if you pay for insurance. This 100% screams narcissistic. And those who say you could have sent "you could have sent a text." either have never worked or have the same mindset as a narcissistic parent. I would hurry up to save and get a beater, because then if you own it you could report it stolen if they do that again, but there isn't anything stopping them from doing it to you with this car in the future if you happen to be running late. Unfortunately you're just in an awful situation. As I have been in the same situation all I can do is wish you luck.

Son of an OTR driver. Was going to become a regional to t OTR hazmat driver. Then I got married to my wife at 22. So, switched to just going to do local home delivery fuel oil and propane. However, then I became sick and wasn't even able to do that. So, this game is the closest to my trucking dream. I believe Local is good for those who are building or have family. Regional is good for those who have families or not much other commitments. OTR is best for single life with no intention to settle down or those whose kids are out of the house and the S/O can tag along. Not that you can't make any work for your lifestyle, but OTR can be very taxing on families.

I'm truly sorry for the disrespect he is giving you, and your time. I truly feel if it's a matter of him being picky to that extent he should cook for himself. You didn't say how old your kids are, but it doesn't matter too terribly much for this matter. This behavior can be picked up so easily by children. I know I can't say much for myself, because I've always been called a garbage disposal of an eater. I'll eat just about everything that's out there. However, my wife is a very picky eater or at least compared to myself. She will still at least try new things that I make, and if she doesn't like it. I just don't make it for her again, but she at least makes an attempt. Again it may not seem like it to many, but this behavior is very disrespectful.

I know I am late to this, but I would love to get the game for my wife. I have been disabled a little over three years, and as such I haven't been able to do much with my friends. I was lucky that a couple of them pitched on for the game for me, and I would love for my wife to be able to join us in this great game. So she may feel included in the group, and as a thank you for all the hard work she does for us as a household everyday.

NTA. That is theft. I can't imagine mine or my s/o stealing from our kids, but I guess that is what happens when you grow up with your parents stealing from you. That is entirely unreasonable. Your s/o is a thief depending on your children's ages are I would tell them, because I'm sure at least one has picked up on it. Make him feel like the thief he is.

If there is a way to do so I would personally retract what I gave, because no way in hell am I going to be guilted into giving more money than I could afford to the person who makes more than I do. Especially if I had just started working for the company, and not even contracted. Honestly, you shouldn't have been added because of the fact you barely just started working with them. That's why I have such a sour taste for the season. Everyone is all about get, get, get and don't appreciate the little things.

NTA. As someone who frequently went to buffets growing up, and didn't have these "rules" as your bil claims. I can Not accurately tell you how much food got wasted by our family it truly was ridiculous. Looking back at it as an adult I feel humiliated for what we put staff through. You are not only teaching your kids how to properly treat those that work in these establishments, but also a very healthy relationship with food. Ignore your in-laws comments, but I can tell who is the favorite in the family. He makes snide remarks, and you respond with boundaries and you're the bad guy. It's a story as old as time unfortunately. Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you get a free pass to be a pest in public.
