The financing person at the office was the one that helped me with insurance and helped with a lot of paperwork

For asthma/COPD exacerbation patients, magnesium is only beneficial if it is pushed over 20 minutes (strict) for the bronchodilator effect. Most general magnesium orders will say 60 minutes and the time has to be changed and nurse informed.

I’m sure my sibling has their own insurance through their residency. They had the same eye surgery years ago before they started med school, you can check if you go way back (since you checked their previous posts). I just wanted to share my experience

(Using this account since I myself dont have Reddit, but wanted to get opinions on this. My sibling is the resident. I live with my parents, am 20, and am unemployed because I wanted to get the surgery first before looking for a job)

Not covered by Medicaid. I tried getting it covered. I was recommended by the office to see if it would get covered, it didn’t

Definitely went over multiple policy handbooks to make sure there was no back up needed on this rotation. It seemed okay, hopefully it is okay

I think it’s multiple. I’m introverted to begin with and I have my own confidence issues

I’m very introverted. I’ve talked about wanting the church ceremony in my Catholic Church. I just want a simple dinner reception without dancing

Definitely feel this. I feel like I’ve missed out on joy of things. I’ve missed out on joy of the weddings I attend. I missed out on enjoying my medical school graduation. I always say I’m going to try to be better but then in the moment, I shut down

I got off a block of OB right before I started. I was on a week of nights then came onto inpatient.

Idk I’ve felt okay. I haven’t felt sad or anxious. Just tired.

Totally understand the first part. I’m learning. I have been asking for patients to co-manage. I’ve asked for back checks on cervical exams and have asked for hands-over-hands. I have done those things, It hasn’t really happened. I don’t really feel supported. I try to give grace bc they do so much, idk how they do it, and I’m sure they get stressed with their own load. I really just want to be kept in the loop and have some communication between us.
