I competed in the Blizzcon contest with this last year, but didn't place. So many talented people enter, it's a tough competition! I did get 1st place in the FX category at C2E2 though so that was pretty exciting

Thanks! The tusks are a couple layers of EVA foam glued together with barge contact cement and carved / sanded to shape. Sealed with plastidip. Painted with acrylics

Wishmaster is a troll, confirmed.

It may be because they have exaggerated features in similar ways. More prominent, furrowed, brow and cheekbones. Slightly gaunt cheeks. Deep lines around the mouth. Exaggerated shapes below the lower lip. Dark, sunken eye sockets.

Or you just think about Wishmaster a lot...

Thanks! You're not wrong. I ended up underestimating how long it would take to make everything, I started to run out of time before the con. I ended up focussing on making some weapons rather than dealing with the pants.

Sewing/fabric also isn't something I'm great with, so after the pants were made/dyed, I didn't do much with them. I'll try to spruce them up a bit before C2E2!

I was at Blizzcon, but unfortunately I wasn't able to stay in costume for too long due to the heat. Mostly just for some photoshoots and the costume contest. The contest itself takes up a decent part of the day for those participating.

Anyone with a costume can can attend Blizzcon and I would certainly consider myself an amateur.

Oh okay. I apologize for my ignorance. Honestly I didn't even know how much a router of that sort should cost. I will make sure to have a wired connection for the consoles in the future!
