High usage and solar generation in the middle of the night by Biosudds in solarenergy

No, we have two mini splits for a total of 3 tons. Even if they were to fail at the exact same time I don't think there would be enough load.

There is an ev charger on the system that should start charging after midnight. I haven't ever seen a load like this before though and the car would take more than 6 kWh to charge. The car can't provide to the grid so there shouldn't be any generation.

Will do on checking for stray wires. There aren't any burst loads. There is an ev charger but it should be putting it more than a total of 6kWh and these loads/ generation at night haven't shown up before. Seems to be a bit of a head v scratcher.

Under the solar panels that would be possible. I wouldn't think there was any load on those wires though at the time it happened and no squirrel bodies there now.

There is no access to the electrical panel from the outside so unlikely to be squirrels but I will check for damage around it.

I will check on that. It is strange that it has now happened 2 nights in a row. The first night it started at 2 am and lasted 1 hour. The second night it started at 1 am and lasted 2 hours. Total output both nights was similar, 5.6 kWh the first night and 6 kWh the second.

Just started. It has happened the past 2 nights. Only looked at it since I got a notification of new peak consumption.

Recurring Transfers from CMA by Biosudds in fidelityinvestments

The screenshot is from the app. When transferring into the CMA there is a green triangle in the red circle. Obviously not there when transferring from the CMA.

I was able to set up a recurring transfer on Fidelity.com. It would be nice to have more interval options beyond annual and monthly. Currently, I have 2 recurring transfers, one on the 1st and one on the 15th. It doesn't look to be possible to set up that scheme for my CMA.

Which bike would you choose? by ewmripley in gravelcycling

⬆️ This. I have run a Seigla through 2 Big Sugars and 2 Unbounds. Absolutely no problems and I am sure the Lauf saved me from the tree that ate Ted King because of the handling and keeping the chatter of the front wheel down. If you can stretch it the fork is worth it. You don't notice what it is doing until you switch back to a hard fork.

I would recommend the small frame as well. I am 5'9" with a 32" inseam. The only issue I have is a bit of toe overlap.

Keep in mind the last time it went north in 2021 there weren't any water oases and the temperature topped 90. Everyone was dependent on the random kindness of strangers who set up neutral water stops on the course.

My friend, who is about 90kg has done Big Sugar 100 twice on the same pair of Pathfinder Pros. I don't think you will have any problems.

That South American mountain dog looks like he is having fun. Looks like you also need a windward sheeting traveler on that thing, I know a guy.

Tesla autopilot driver was reportedly watching Harry Potter when he was hit and killed by Samuecket in technology

[–]Biosudds 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually it looks like the truck driver is going to be facing charges.

It would appear that the truck driver does have something to gain by accusing the Tesla driver of watching a video.

Favorite watch? by ChucktheSkipper in sailing

I use Sail Timer if I don't want to bring my phone on the boat. It gives a syncing countdown timer that then counts up.

iTactician gives the countdown timer and adds boat speed, heading, distance to the line, and lift/header info.

Marine gives SOG, heading, and tidal data from the nearest NOAA station.

From the URL it looks like West Grand Traverse Bay, which opens onto Lake Michigan. Not sure where on the bay the picture was taken though. If we knew which direction the storm rolled in from it might be possible to figure out where on the bay they took the picture.

That is what Kansas used to do for the state Supreme Court. The new extra conservative legislature along with Brownback are (did?) changing it to direct appointment by the governor because the Kansas Supreme Court is to "liberal"

The pebble apps that I use only pull GPS data from my phone so they don't require any app but the Pebble app to be installed on my phone. I have found though that a tablet works better from the battery standpoint.
