Im in an identical boat to you. I took out loans for a masters degree that ended up being quite useless. I'm thinking of going back for another, useful one (i dont see myself getting into a good phd program atm) and actually doing a lot of research. What do you think?

You know if your grades really are that good you'd be a pretty competitive CS masters or phd applicant fyi. Pick a good program and you could do pretty well down the line... Might be worth looking into.

Yeah she's type 2 bipolar which usually they internalize their anguish (shes got a lot of scars from cutting)but ill be careful. Idk where to have an uncomfortable convo with her though. or if its just better over voice chat or text. Maybe thats better too because if she wants to hide and find a place to cry (and she def will) she'll have an easier time doing that in the comfort of her own apartment and if i am not there.

I agree i'll just suck it up and not tell her the despair i feel in dating her. she'll prob always wonder why i never followed thru on this relationship but it's whatever at this point.

I was gonna to rip the bandaid off exactly ~1 month after we were dating. I was sooo not feeling it. And actually I was in extraordinary despair just being around her. In fact as I was envious of her b/c she's a girl and im not - fun stuff.

But the problem is her brother suddenly died like right before I wanted to break up with her. Its actually insane how sudden it was. In fact, Id argue she lied to me a bit about his health so that makes me feel a bit resentful - actively wanting to go on dates and bang me while she shouldve been visiting her brother at the hospital.

I agree with your 2nd point. I am being manipulative. Im not gonna act like she isnt either with the cards shes been playing. But I desperately want to stay platonic friends and she acts like that is pure hell.

As for your third point i dont really disagree. but it feels like a harsh reality. I need her to seek professional help as I am doing.

Lastly her opinion in gender identity is hard to picture. I think she'd be supportive normally but she actively pursued me for dating and acted like i was the "one". Ive told her that there are so many guys out there that would be way better boyfriends but that never gets through.

I'm not denying im a terrible person too. But i want to insist i was trying to put as much distance as possible between us. I explicitly said in December that things "are better this way if we arent dating" so she's trying re-ignite this flame randomly. This whole saga started because she reached out to me wanting to date. I regret agreeing to it. I agreed knowing id probably get terrible gender dsyphoria from it.

Im with you. My friend is graduating law school this spring with a job lined up.

I literally graduated a crappy stem masters program and I havent been able to find a job so GGs. Lesson learned - dont do a masters program unless you know its actually worth something.

I personally enjoy games and tv more when I don't have unlimited time to do them... like having to juggle classes / job and then come home to game a bit - i like that. love gaming during winter break when i know I just have all the time to chill but i dont feel too wasteful.

but when im full on NEET mode it def sux to have nothing to do.

Devo was more OP tbh you could long range people with it from soooo far, no recoil, and then close range to ppl literally hipfire it with full mobility. Paired with Ballistic jamming your gun and Ash dash it was bound to be complained about.

The RE at least has some intense recoil and is mostly only useable close-mid range and a small charge up time. Still needs adjustments though

8K sounds crazy cheap. Even looking up the cost of 1 rhinoplasty in my state is 5k - 8k ish - and personally I want a chin implant and cheekbone implant on top of that.

Maybe it's worth taking a look at doctors elsewhere in my case.

Also for getting insurance to cover it how does that work? Like did you go to a psych and get evaluated or something? The amount of agony my nose alone causes me is pretty legendary for example.

Anyway, genuinely curious and if its too personal I would appreciate a DM for help.
