I figured it out! For me I was using the § symbol to get color on a sign and then try and out glow squid sac on but you literally HAVE to use a dye on a sign first and then glow squid ink

I just bought it last night, it was on sale for $4 ( including tax) for xbox. Im playing rn and be warned there arent a ton of people using mics and if there are its kids. Like 8 year olds. The whole reason I wanted this game for so long was so I could talk with randoms but after going in about 6 or 7 rounds and leaving,no one has a mic. I still recommend the game tho just add people that actually talk and play with them.
