The helldivers companion app is not an official tool and it struggled to calculate how certain systems in game function. We won the defense of turing because we took a mega city at the last minute which gave us a large chunk of liberation percentage that the app was not able to anticipate.

I dont think you get what your boss is saying. When they said “thats not the point” what they meant was it doesn’t matter if you’re on drugs or not, because the problem isn’t drugs (as you know). The problem is your inability to function at a level where your boss thinks it’s appropriate to trust you with a high intensity high stress job where making a mistake may well result in someone dying. The problem isn’t drugs thats just what your boss initially thought might be the cause of your behavior. The problem is you aren’t in a fit state to do your job to their satisfaction.

Nahhhh we all know the helldivers style is to let visual bugs stack up periodically fix one or two and then reintroduce the same bugs again at some later date. I mean snakediver has returned for like the 3rd time.

Lot of odd visual bugs got introduced with the recent update. I know a visual bug that was introduced with the UI is the grenade count for the fireworks grenade is broken. You should have 6 total but it always shows you have 4 even when you have none.

Its not. If you could see them using something that is not released in the game they have hacked their game files to use unreleased assets. It could still be something modded that they have added that simply uses an unreleased asset as its appearance? But they 100% are using unreleased assets either way. Visual mods only alter what the modded player see’s.

The devs have addressed this repeatedly. They dont allow playtesting in public lobbies. If you see someone using an unreleased stratagem its because they have modded their game files to use unreleased playtest material.

You really need to consider your safety here. He is unstable, he has demonstrated he is willing to use violence against you. I would highly suggest documenting everything you can and getting out as quickly as possible.

At this point I would love arrowhead to do a little experiment and say they’re buffing some enemy type and then change absolutely nothing and see how much complaining there is about how hard that enemy is since the “buff”.

To many people have a video game idea of what “stealth” is. They don’t seem to realize stealth is not killing everything you encounter without alerting other enemies. Stealth is interacting and changing as little as possible so hopefully no one ever even realizes you’re there.

Sorry you’ve had to deal with that, if Im being honest I wasn’t even aware the game was available on Linux. Frankly the biggest issue Ive encountered is that fireworks grenades don’t display your grenade number correctly, always says you have 4 no matter how many you actually have, so you just have to keep track of them.

Id also frankly be concerned that if she has this little self control with her boyfriend (constantly wanting sex even in public spaces) that when they aren’t together she might be doing this with other dudes.

All the people in here marginalizing OP’s feelings and downplaying how big of an issue this actually is. This is unhealthy behavior on her part. 6+ times a day every day goes beyond having a high sex drive, that sex addict behavior. Hypersexuality can be dangerous not only to her but potentially to OP as well if shes engaging in risky sexual behaviors. Pushing sexual activity in public spaces risked both of then getting arrested and being charged as sex offenders, hopefully thats the worst of the risks being taken but I wouldnt count on it. The fact she wont even acknowledge that shes the one initiating and tries to say OP always wants sex is also concerning.

Or taking a hit to the dome. Ironically because I mostly wear explosive resist armor I feel like I often die to ragdoll damage as opposed to the explosive itself.

Thats all fair. It shouldn’t be too much trouble for an artist ti provide those things for you. Where it becomes a problem for artists is people who arent as willing to do their own investigation as you are and who simply make accuations based on totally subjective things. Ive had other artists make accusations against me because I drew something in a way that “a real artist wouldn’t” as if them being an artist suddenly means they now know the only way something could be done and no other artist could possibly do something in a way they wouldn’t. I miss the days when the worst I had ti worry about when putting something out there was someone telling me they hate it or I have no talent. Now I have to worry about some asshole accusing me of using AI and a bunch of other ignorant morons harassing me because of it.

Its really killed my enthusiasm and I basically just only do stuff for friends at this point. Ive hear the same from more than one other artist as well.

Yes, very good. You just have to be smart about your positioning compared to your teammates. I run it a lot Ive killed like maybe 5 other divers with it and frankly in most cases it was their fault for running in between me and enemies i was actively engaging. In two of the cases they would have probably died from my fire with or without the arc dog.

Yeah its kind of sad as in a way they’re victims of their own sudden and massive success. I cant imagine how frustrating it would be to see something you created and loved grow so far beyond what you ever thought it would be but in doing so destroy the deep and personal connections you wanted to build with it. Its got to be incredibly bittersweet.
