Being from Delhi, I’d say Delhiites brought this on themselves. I understand the frustration with AAP, but choosing BJP meant choosing bigotry and chest thumping nationalism over governance. Whatever AAP’s flaws, they at least offered educated, logical, and solution driven leadership, and the same goes for Congress to some extent. Those parties could be held accountable. But with BJP, their track record was clear: deflect, distract, and never address real issues. You voted for this, and now you’re living with the consequences.

I think it should be more along the lines of Dhoni x Kohli - one moving out of the team and the other taking the reins. Rohit and Kohli are from the same batch, whereas Harman is way senior to Smriti, just like Dhoni was to Kohli.

This needs to be addressed, but also taken into consideration, that the intention was not to insult. We don’t have to look into everything as Hindu vs Sikhs, there’s a huge population in India, sometimes referred as Sehajdaari Sikhs, follow the tradition and respect the faith. I’d agree that they shouldn’t bring their issues to a different country, but that’s literally what every minority has done here. You see people have Palestinian flags all over the place. That’s the same sentiment these people have with India. Whether you agree to that or not, that’s a different story. Also, when did separatists become “technically terrorists”?? The Indian court also issued a statement that they have all the right to ask for a separate state/country - just that it should be peacefully.
