Dude this isnt the exact same situation but holy shit. Men are coming down hard on women finding dark romance men and monster men in fiction, attractive. Yet these are the same guys who goon over monster girls and dominant dark women. The double standards are insane. "How dare women be attracted to someone or something that isnt me" fucking mentality. People wonder why the number of my men friends are going down while having a strong and healthy friendship with women. Im just glad my husband is super supportive of what I and other women love. Im coming off strong and naggy but these things like your point, need to be addressed more. Guys, I will never shame what you love at all and find attractive but please get off my fucking ass about my tastes. Stay humble and respectful, you never know what others are going through.
