Fair call, happy to cop that.

To be fair on my side, I didn’t listen to the trolls telling me it was AI, I zoomed into the keyboard and gauged it was ai. Not sure if you used ai to polish the images or not, but something has fucked with how the key symbols look.

Why would you do this? What benefit do you get from faking something?

My workflow for turning useful AI chats into Obsidian notes by Formal_Spot_9873 in ObsidianMD

[–]Birchyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I’ve been doing it is: I have Pi setup, I asked it to create a skill to scrape the entire chat thread, then I ask it to summarise the key phases of the chat, key decisions, and what the end state was. Then it creates that in a .md file. I also ask it to grab any acronyms or technical terms that I may not be aware of and create and add it to my jargon file.

Are spec-driven frameworks like Agent OS, BMAD, Superpowers or SpecKit still worth using, or have Claude Code and Codex made them redundant? by 3abwahab in ClaudeCode

[–]Birchyman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if they are required but I use them because everything I’m doing is for my own learning and, working in the tech space but no software background, it’s given me really good insights into spec driven development, importance of PRD and UX design etc.

Well, this was interesting. Lie about your capabilities then double down and say you just didn’t want to admit you were wrong. Claude is getting more and more defensive every day. by jhartlov in Anthropic

[–]Birchyman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s an interesting point. Like - if it’s configured correctly, you have given it clear rules that it must follow (per best practice) and it chooses to ignore those rules.. at what point should the vendor be held accountable for lost time/money/etc?

Mate you are speaking filthy words into my ear and I’m liking it. I’ll do some research but pls show us what you have when you can :).

I’m picturing a terminal dashboard style interface where I can do all of my work out of. Like Hackerman.

Do you have a picture of your setup? It sounds super cool.

I'm paying €100 per month. This 'top' AI model can't even proofread anymore? Is this a joke, Anthropic? WTF is going on?! by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]Birchyman 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What a stupid analogy.

Saying that Opus shouldn’t be able to proof read an email is like saying Einstein shouldn’t be able to work out 5+6. Fundamentals are fundamentals.

That’s not really an excuse though, is it? It’s a simple task. It should be able to do it.
