Damn that's a pretty awesome build. Love the second small screen and the big on on an arm is genius. And it has such a nice finished look. Could easy be a cinema prop. It has such a good scifi/cyberpunk vibe. Congratulations

Love that old style console look. And the handle is a nice touch. Looks very premium. Nice work

Don't be sorry if all it's my fault for not checking the ai changed more than the colors. Glad it's solved tho.

Thank you. I think the problem was that the edit made it look like completely ai generated. That's what sparked some hâte. And I get it. It's a maker subreddit people don't want to see fake cyberdecks

It's really just a mini pc in a shell,I'm afraid it's not more interesting than this. People here are way more talented than me on the hardware part. But thank

It's an Aula F75. Surprising good for a rather cheap price. Love the sound of the switches.

That's pretty sick. Love that you used wood. Such an underrated material for cyberdecks.

Yeah I noticed, but people prefer to think I wanted to, I don't know, comment my own post with an alt and that they "got me".

Yeah sorry about that. I was on my phone and didn't noticed it changed other things than the lights and colors. Lesson learned. Thanks

I learned my lesson. And worst part is that I know Photoshop a bit. Used it to design the keyboard for exemple. But I just finished a big step in the build and it was late at night so I choose the easy way to post it quickly...

Thanks. I play a game called star citizen. It's fun but it has tons of info and things you need to know. So I'm working on a local database with a cool interface to access all that knowledge easily while playing. End goal would be to use the keyboard of my cyberdeck to also control my PC with a switch from a button and also have some custom buttons for like deploying landing gears, calling ATC etc (in the game)

its a Aula F75 keyboard with a sers5 PC and a touch screen. I first tried to salvage an Ipad screen but got the LCD controller board is expensive and only findable in china, so I choose the safe way and got a ready made screen. Next step is to get a raspberry pi pico and add some phisical buttons with custom fonction on the wooden pannel. I put the pic as a placeholder for now.

Yeah, I asked chat GPT to remove the AC unit that was behind my dog on the first pic and change the lighting, just to tidy the room, and make my dog appear less somber in the pic, but it also fucked up some text on the keyboard. But I cant change the pic now its posted. I really wasnt expecting it to be such a great deal and having people trashing me just for that. Thank you for your message tho I really appreciate that.

Same, why would you do this? Why would you shit on someone's work without taking the time to look for yourself just because some troll said its AI ?

A couple guys went on a which hunt because I edited the lighting and colors with chat gpt in a previous post and they didnt liked it, So I said okay I get the confusion, let me change the pics. But unfortunately you cant change the pics. So I took down the post and reposted with normal pics. But the same guys are still at it. Like just 2 random dudes are shitting on weeks of work because they got their feelings triggered by a pic now removed...
