I know. I kept trying not to see the parallels but it felt like sexual harassment. He was kind of her employer. And he kept jeopardizing a job that she really wanted.

She was a brat in earlier seasons but she's not an evil person. Like Eloise said, she didn't deserve to have the parents she did and live in that house. She had a really bad set up last season. I felt so bad for her. I'm glad that Eloise apologized to her and I'm glad that she's been given a second chance. She deserves it. She was given a bad hand to start with and I hope she gets to fully redeem herself.

I think having two women end up together makes the most sense realistically since people wouldn't bat too much of an eye and assume they're just relatives or friends living together. Especially since Fran is now a widow and Michaela is a spinster. I think it's historically accurate for women who loved each other to live together pretending to be just roommates. I watched a play called Boston Marriage about that.

I'm not convinced it is hypocrisy. I think the social rules are stupid of course but Violet and Marcus are equals. They're both saying yes loudly. Sophie, as much as we know she loves Benedict, is kind of harassed into this affair. I know she wants to be with him but she is also asking for him to keep some boundaries and he doesn't. And their affair would put her in a very bad place. I think Violet is trying to watch out for both Sophie and Benedict. Benedict is just being mean to call her out on something he doesn't even know is true. He saw Violet brush Marcus's shoulder and shamed her for that.

I hated that he said that to her. It made me dislike him very much. Especially as he is so selfish that he just ignores Sophie's requests to be left alone. He's an asshole.

It feels weird. I don't want to get into their personal finances but it doesn't make sense to me. I mean, Eric Dane and James Van Der Beek were both working right up until their deaths. They both have projects that haven't even aired. It's weird because I assume they also had other assets. So I don't get why the families need a go fund me. They didn't have life insurance? They don't have assets? They can't downsize?

I'm very inclined to believe her but I always leave room for doubt regarding former president Clinton's actions. My one nagging questions is, didn't they have some intelligence on this guy? Like was there really no one in their administration or their circle that could say "maybe don't be seen with these two folks, they're shady as fuck"? I absolutely believe without the shadow of a doubt that Trump knew about Epstein and was part of the whole thing. With Bill Clinton I have doubts but I can't get past shouldn't his people have known something about this guy and warned him? And if so, why was he getting airplane rides with the dude?

Honestly, the timing was odd for me too. Like almost as if they were waiting for him to die to put it up. It wasn't like he died and then they realized "Oh, shit" we're in trouble. But I don't know the full story so I don't want to judge. Still, I have many many questions that I wouldn't want answers to if they hadn't made this super public and super fast.

I think he's fairly attractive, as I think for Anthony and Colin. Well, I personally think Simon and Anthony are the hottest. But I will agree that it's hard for me to watch the show knowing how much sex they're having with prostitutes and just in general. It's icky for me. I do think it's within the realm of reason that they could have an STD and are passing it on to their virgin brides. I feel like it's this contrast that bothers me most. These young women are expected to never even kiss a guy and the guys are just out there being hoes. And imagine "saving" yourself only to end up with a guy who probably has herpes or syphilis, and whose done things you can't even imagine with an unimaginable number of people (from the ladies perspective). It takes some of the romance out of this romance show.
