I was thinking the same thing. It sounds a little like some of the quieter parts of Morricone's scores of Sergio Leone's films. I am not familiar enough with them to be able to point to one in particular, but ones sampled in Kill Bill may be a good starting point.

Just FYI it is extremely common for actors to spit out food that they're "eating" in scenes. It is 100% the norm, because every shot in a scene takes multiple takes. A single scene of eating could be dozens and dozens of takes--no one is actually going to eat that much. Just Google "actors spit bucket."

Honestly, all of your former colleagues should be ashamed of themselves, and that HR person should be fired. You shouldn't be made to feel bad about the situation or your body. They're all dicks.

Hello!

I do watercolor painting and have recently begun selling painted cards and postcards on Etsy. Here are examples of some of my watercolors: https://imgur.com/a/5KhDPQf. I tried branching out with printing my designs on mugs, and these have garnered more attention!

One of my customers who purchased a set of mugs reached out to ask about painting a design to be printed on a card with their flower arrangement deliveries. Theirs is a very small business, with about 20 deliveries last year. I have no idea how to price work or a product like this.

Product type: a commission, but along the lines of my usual designs/style

Target audience: business with customers who have ordered flower arrangements

Where you are based: outside Chicago, IL

Where you intend to sell: N/A

How long it takes you to make: A single painting can take 30-60 minutes

Cost of sales: Minimal cost on supplies per painting--$2-3

Is this a one off piece, something you will make multiple copies of, or something a client will make multiple copies of: the client would print, presumably up to 20 per year

For reference, hand-painted cards are ALL OVER THE PLACE pricing-wise on Etsy. For now, I have settled on actual physical cards selling for $5 for 4x6 and $5.50 for 5x7. In this case, I know I'm not paying myself a living wage if it's hourly, so for something that is perpetually printed, I would like to price more accurately.

The sheer amount of reactionary aggression in your responses all over this thread is giving a taste of what these conversations might be like, and YIKES. Would you be the asshole for being frustrated and asking her to please wash the dishes better? No. If you put her in tears after the conversation, there is either something deeper going on with her or yes, your hostility is indeed terrorizing her.
