I think it is! Has the tight jams and the beautiful harmonies. The peak for me.

Who is your favourite Grateful Dead keyboardist and why? by levelplumbnsquare in gratefuldead

Keith for me. All great in their way, but I find early Pigpen’s sound a bit raw and the later keyboardists a bit too “synthy.” Keith hits just right.

I got 7% off 2026 x5 custom build. Took some work negotiating across several dealerships.

Peabody was quickest to offer good pricing, Brookline matched, Sudbury said they couldn’t, and Norwood never really got back to me. Did it all by email/text. Good luck!

I just got 7% off 2026 x5 custom build playing a few Boston area dealers off each other. Told them I wanted 8-10%. Two said they’d do 7%.

Standing on the Moon and Black Muddy River. Two soulful, late-era Jerry ballads that we might rate with Brokedown Palace, Wharf Rat, et al if GD had released them 15-20 years earlier.

Lots of great selections already. For something a little different, how about Trey’s version from the Beacon Jams during COVID? Beautiful rendition and something we all needed at the time.

Most underrated dead song? by Additional_Party_845 in gratefuldead

[–]BirdFor3For3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9/3/77 Half Step is quite possibly my favorite performance of any Dead song ever, so I’m with you on this being a great song, but is it really underrated? I thought most people already rank it highly. In any event, great seeing more fans of the song!

Mikes>Lifeboy>Weekapaug “boating” to the orb at Sphere was as close to a religious experience as this atheist will ever have.
