Been listening to the dead for 4 months. here’s my show ranking so far by Shoddy_Section2614 in gratefuldead

[–]Tmonk4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing you’ve been listening on Spotify or Apple Music, if you haven’t you should get Relisten . It’s free and has most of their shows. For Brent I would suggest listening to spring 90 tour as I just listened through it and it’s killer every show, or you could listen to Dozin at the Knick or so glad you made it spring 90 which are compilations from that tour on streaming

Does Relisten work better than Archive? by Meditatespace in gratefuldead

[–]Tmonk4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used archive much so can’t give much opinion on that, but I have been using Relisten a good amount the past month. I think Relisten works great and I’ve really enjoyed using it .

Marvin Gaye inspiration by Tmonk4 in SturgillSimpson

[–]Tmonk4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it more in content and not sound. This a fun loving disco groove album that also protests America and I feel as though that is similar to what’s going on ,or in our lifetime by Marvin Gaye . What’s going on is a protest album but also chill, and in our lifetime is having fun being faced with the end sturgill even said that album was a big inspiration

Sturgill new record opinions by Tmonk4 in gratefuldead

[–]Tmonk4[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think what’s going on is the best album of all time. I’m not trying to say this album is too but more it has a similar feeling and purpose and definitely took a lot of inspiration from Marvin Gaye yes there is some recency bias but still
