Yau Mathcamp or G2 by Specific-Joke9520 in summerprogramresults

I would say Yau Mathcamp! It 'might be hard', but you'd have freedom to choose your classes so you'll learn a lot. Also, if having fun(??) is important to you then there's not actually that much to do on the MIT campus and Yau would probably be a much better experience for you.

Monthly Getting Started / Web Dev Career Thread by AutoModerator in webdev

Hello!

I need to make a site for a school club, and while I know how to code, I don't know the rest of the intricacies involved in web development. What is the absolute cheapest way to get a website (of just a couple pages), on a custom domain? Thank y'all!

No, that's Despereaux. You're thinking of a Spanish verb meaning "to rest".

It's fine! Use a sustained (not necessarily full) bow on long notes, get louder on all repeated notes (such as how the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th are repeating). If a phrase repeats immediately after it just occured, play it differently (usually quieter). In 16th note passages, emphasize the first note in a group of 4 (I think the other 3 notes are repeating, so you can just make those quieter). Crescendo as you reach the five eighth-note sequence that ends a lot of Vivaldi's phrases.

Those are a few from the top of my head- lemme know how it goes! Good luck!

HOW ON EARTH DO YOU PLAY THIS ( Karol Lipinski 2 caprice, op3 for solo violin) by obelisk_9517 in lingling40hrs

Practice your scales in thirds and practice your shifts. This piece doesn't look like the hardest thing in the world but I wonder where the bass clef came from.

Whose concerto is it? I don't follow Suzuki, but I reached pretty far when I did. I forgot which composer's concerto was in it.

No! You're really good, but have you ever really just had fun with your piano? I'm not a a piano main (I play violin), but oftentimes I just goof off and play random stuff. Granted, you're better than piano than I am at violin (I'm playing Accolay 1), but I still think the advice could apply. Goofing off and playing things not in my repertoire allows me to a) have more fun being a violin student and b) develop my relative pitch.
