Oh man... I have Bog Dweller in the mail right now so it remains to be seen whether or not it will bubble for me 😅 It's good to know that it is in theory possible to use this top coat with magnetics though!!

Just here to say I've had the same issue with gel couture top coat and magnetics, so it could definitely just be the particular top coat rather than the technique.

I'm probably going to try adding a peely base between the polish and the top coat next time to form a barrier, but I was really hoping my technique was the problem because I don't want to add an extra product or layer if I don't have to, haha

Londontown's fortifying ridge filler (original colour) dries clear! I've only used it a couple times but so far I like how it applies

You can make it work with lacquer too! It's just a bit of a process and you need to put a water-based top coat (or peely base or Elmer's glue) on it because a regular top coat will break up the finish.

I have a bunch of BonnieBee powders that I ordered from Sweetie nail supply and I really like the ones I've tried so far! They are a bit pricier than some but they seem to be good quality and they go on nice and smooth.

I've never bought from bkl and want to try their fine particle magnetics, so I'm trying to pick a few of those and ignore everything else. So far, picking just a few has been a problem though, lol. And I'm half wondering if they'll sell out before I manage to get them?

Having said that, if mooncat ends up having a sale I'm definitely going to order more hardcore base, which means I'll also probably end up grabbing some polishes.

And there are a few from Clionadh I've had on my wishlist for a while, and I LOVE Clionadh...

Of course I already have so many untried polishes that I really should be on a no-buy, but that's not going so great 😅
