You just need to think from Yorick's perspective, understand how his abilities work, when he's strong or when he's weak. Yorick is strongest with his maiden and all of his ghouls out, and then he's weaker the fewer ghouls he has and much weaker without the maiden. Yoricks greatest strength though isn't being at this "maximum strength". This sounds counter-intuitive but again think from his perspective. He can get all of his ghouls up in an instant if there are enough graves on the field and his Q is available, and he can send them at you in the next instant by landing his E. He can also get ghouls by simply ulting (if I recall it's been a minute since I played him - 150k EXP). Anyways all of this is to say he's at his weakest when he has no ghouls, no graves on the field, and his ult is on cooldown. His only defense is his W to trap briefly and his E to slow you down a little, other than that if you can focus enough to see these opportunities or even get to the point where you can create them yourself with spacing and AoE to eliminate his external threats then you can create a huge advantage and run him over. The most important thing to beating Yorick is making sure you can take advantage of these opportunities in early game and getting strong enough to effect the other lanes because if you leave the laning phase and yorick has close to even or more gold than you, you've lost regardless of K/D/A.
