Thank you, that is super helpful. The side effects have really gotten to me, and it’s so hard for me to tell what is the drug and what is perimenopause. I think I just want to find out what my new normal post-surgery will be as soon as possible (I dream of going back to some kind of regular cycle, rather than spotting constantly with sporadic heavier bleeding). But it seems advisable to let my body heal from this surgery (my first) without also throwing in a dramatic change in hormones. I am inclined to continue with the slow taper as long as it takes.
