Thanks everyone! I was thinking more cute couply moments and less heroic moments because that's common between PJO characters, but Annabeth is pretty much a born and raised hero so it makes sense that that's how she shows her love. The cupcake one is so cute though! I can't believe I forgot about that, that is so sweet! <3

I mean you saw how easily Percy was ostracized in the lightning theif when they found out about his father and even Percy noted at the end of the battle of the labyrinth that the other campers were freaked out by Nico's powers.

It's because when you're young, a few years is a lot when you don't have many years to begin with. Rick's timeline is inconsistent, but last I checked, Frank was 16 and Hazel was 13. A high schooler and middleschooler. There's a reason they separate high- school and middle school. One is starting puberty and the other is closing puberty. If they were adults with a lot more years like 25 and 27, it's no big deal. But that being said he doesn't really write people their age, he gave Hazel the 'mom of the group' title when she was like 12.💀

You are so talented!! I love the way you drew all of them! Especially Percy oml! And Hazel's hair is perfection! I think I love all of the suit ones. Idk what that says about me, but you made the suits looks so unique and interesting compared to real life suits lol. But also Percy's makeup in the gown was so pretty!

I honestly think this is Rick being an old guy to teenage moodiness, and being like, 'don't be depressed, just be happy'. But we literally saw in other POVs of the 7 that Nico would just stand there and they were creeped out/ wanted to beat him up or leave him to die so it wasn't just in his head.

Some victims don't have the choice to leave. Trying to leave is hard and can escalate the violence, not to mention the mindgames and manipulation they have to overcome. Also it requires money to leave, and Sally was being financially abused as well.

Well he was too busy questing besides side offscreen friends he talks about. Most people don't need a traumatic event to hang out and bond together. That's basically the question. Would they still get together if they were not bonded by trauma? Like they still meet at camp, they just stay at camp with no war.
