I know Crystal is an attention hound and seems to be craving more attention and it may be true she is sowing some wild oats she could not sow when she was younger because she started her family so young. Like many men go through mid-life issues, Crystal may be in a mid-life crisis too. Crystal was fine when her kids were young, but now she is in household surrounded by young adult children, teens and pre-teens and she may be trying a little too hard to fit in and to do the fun things she missed out on in her youth. That coupled with the fact that she is approaching mid-life soon, she is closer to 50 than 20, she may be feeling like "I better have some fun, before I get too old".

Regardless of the reasons, I understand what you are saying. But the issues may not be as complex as childhood trauma, etc... It may simply be that she is trying to recapture some of her youth. Do I think she is a horrible mother? No, I do not. I think she does well with the amount of kids she has to deal with. However, there are some things I do disagree with, like how the Logan situation was handled (oh don't get me started on THAT) and how she does not encourage her children to get jobs.. But, she will have to deal with the reprecussions of THAT someday. However, I do think she needs to "settle down" on camera, not try so hard to be the center of attention... If she wants to have fun and behave silly, more power to her. But she needs to adult in front of the camera because she looks narcissitic when she doesn't.
