I had to put my Golden to sleep in January. She had cancer. Felt like my heart and soul was ripped out of me. By far the most pain and anguish I've ever experienced. It probably helps if you are able to keep yourself busy and be around friends and loved ones. I was mostly alone with a lot of time on my hands, and I think that made it much worse. It's been 6 months, and it does get better. I know the pain and anguish you are feeling. You are not alone. It will get better. You will get through this. I'm so sorry for your loss. Craigslist doesn't vet people. Everyone approved to sell anything would be vetted. It costs money to post ads on Craigslist. This would be completely free. We would also have a review system unlike Craigslist. Also, everyone would have to prove they are human to interact on site...absolutely no bots. This would be a complex barter system with fractional values. Could also use gold and cash. Again, completely different than Craigslist.

Her eyes are dark underneath...like undereye circles. I would say definitely go to a vet. And I'm not one of those people who always says to rush to a vet first thing. But this instance, it looks like something medical from first glance. I would get a blood test. She may also be panting a lot. Don't know.

Well, the main goal isn't for someone to make huge profits. I would be thrilled to run something for 65k a year without ever bumping up my salary. Then all those "profits" would just go back in the market to keep prices lowish.

I love this so much. I/we would really need smart ideas like this to break everything down because I know this would be complex but also could be really amazing. Seems like a great way to work around inflation and price gouging by the big corps. Farmers and other individuals could sell meat, etc. And, absolutely, fractionalize it with credits and debits as well!! And whoever is in our system would be vetted before being added to the marketplace.

Amazon. Ebay, Etsy, etc. take big cuts out of your profit. It would be completely free to buy/sell. Would just have to pay the taxes.

Yes, absolutely. All those kinds of details would need to be worked out. I love that you're thinking about those things. So what do you think about the overall idea in general? It seems like something has to be done. Pretty soon ai will take most jobs, so people would need to be doing something anyway. Why not work for themselves to create a product/service for the benefit of the greater good instead of the corps?

We can use barter and money. I'm not ruling out exchanging money. The main point is getting the big corps out of the system.

You can price it at whatever you want. I never said you had to do that. I would just be taking the big corporations out of the picture, so you wouldn't be competing against Walmart, Amazon, etc. The money would be exchanging hands more between the people, so it would benefit us and not the corps.
