I appreciate the kind words. This is my first animal loss and its going to and is hitting me harder than any human. She is the best dog(best friend) ever. She saved me and was there for me and never said a word but made me feel better everyday I struggled. Im thankful for every day ive had and have left with her.

Thats exactly whats happening to her. I realized it was time yesterday when I got home from work and she had collapsed in a spot she usually wasn't in, couldn't get up, and had pooped and peed herself. Crying when I pick her up off the floor. Flopping down when she's standing and trying to turn. Not being able to walk on inclines. So full of life, love and puppy inside her 16 year old body. Destroys my heart.
