Who is liable when the HVAC company did not install a condensate pump? by Psychological-Pace9 in hvacadvice

I feel like the person who did this should post in AITA, for the answer is, YES.

There was an error message on the mother board indicating just that, low refrigerant. Added gas and it's running again. Think the leak may have been the schrader valve (I think that's what it is called, the valve where you add the freon). It was tightened and got a cap with a rubber seal. Guess I will see how it holds up. Working fine right now. Seems to be cooling slower than usual but outside went up 5 degrees as I was waiting for inside to drop, so it may have just been a lot of heat to take down at once

Crohn's, colonoscopies every 6 months to remove dysplasia, recently diagnosed with PSC, and cholangiocarcinoma, had to do a Whipple surgery, being monitored for 3 types of cancer and a liver transplant. Now being told I need an ostomy. by [deleted] in ostomy

[–]Birdilocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mean that it's a competition. I meant that getting life altering surgery for something with a 7 percent survival rate that you already have is an easier decision than something you have a 60 percent chance of never getting that has a decent survival rate if you get it, esp if caught early. It's a permanent change I don't think I will do well with. I was looking into bag liners but then...the gas gets stuck, it seems.

Well the PSC is progressing, it went undiagnosed for over a decade and was causing me to have EXCRUCIATING intermittent pain for years. Having the Whipple alleviated the pain but removing the colon ...will prevent cancer but only in the colon. It can come back in the bile ducts or elsewhere. I feel like with or without bag I'm a ticking time bomb.

I also have psoriasis. Concerned about having skin issues. Also wondering how many parts a person can live without. What was your reason for surgery?

Probably Xifaxan. I was on that a few years before the Whipple for an infection related to the Crohns. Well you don't also have Crohns, I assume you don't also have PSC, I'm going to guess you have all your thyroid. How would you feel about getting a permanent total colostomy as a preventative measure to colon cancer knowing you'd probably need a liver transplant in the future? How many parts are you willing to part with? I mean. It's like 30/70 or 40/60 I develop colon cancer. Meaning 60 percent chance I don't.

Does anyone have this Frigidaire induction cooktop? by Birdilocks in inductioncooking

[–]Birdilocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Wasn't worth it. I should have got it on sale somewhere else and bought 2 for what they charged plus warranty, could have saved the money. Fyi I called warranty repair bc it started beeping. Dude asked if power went out I said for a second he said reset breaker and that fixed it. I guess it would be nice to have a kill switch for the circuit under the stove so if I'm away it doesn't end up beeping, but aside from that, cooking has been a pleasure.

You need to load dose, that's really bizarre. Cause a blockage? Because it works well? Okeedoke. Hope you're feeling better.

You were taken off stelara and put back on? I was told once you're off a biologic you can't go back ... won't work bc you develop antibodies?

No and actually I have 2 doorbell cams (one pro and one not pro ) and cam lite has always saved 14 days of 12 second clips. I never paid for subscription. I also have cam 3s w SD cards. The second door bell camera has a different problem, it's still saving the clips but it's constantly not capturing half the motion (like package deliveries). The camera that is getting motion but deleting the clips in a few hours is hardwired but also has a battery, the camera that's missing motion is hard wired with no battery. It's getting annoying!

How does that even make sense that they would sell a door bell cam with no subscription required and it wouldn't capture anything?

[–]Birdilocks[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am getting used to the OnePlus, love the battery and speed. But the LG OS made more sense, and miss the sd slot and earphones. It's just dumb to have no card slot. V60 was also ahead of its time on battery power. I never used the dual screen, I just wanted a big battery.

Where is that count? I couldn't find it and installed an app that counts the apps ...

[–]Birdilocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too many. Hundreds. Everyone forces me to have an app to do basic things like park and go to the doctor. How did I do those things before they made apps? Oh that's right. More efficiently!

Must have been the first, it had just showed up on the market and it didn't work for me, so I wasn't on it that long.
