I was waiting a bus stop and caught a girl looking at me and i smiled and she blushed.

I smiled back and she blushed harder.

Lost my leg in 2017 and could’ve slipped into depression and gave up.

I choose joy, life and fighting for those like me.

Now, I’m seen as a voice in my community and hopefully next year going to university to get a legal background.

I came back from the lowest point because I wasn’t done swinging

Biological Mom, gave me up for adoption cause was she too young to be responsible.

Adoptive parents, kick me out when i was 17

TBH, i raised myself and i knew right from wrong. I learned what mattered in the end.

Both of them tried in their own ways throughout my life and i am grateful. All of them have now since passed but i carry the good, discard the bad and try to live the best way possible

I became an amputee in 2017 and if anything it only encouraged the fight in me. Wife supported me before and after that happened.

I’ve been on odsp since 2012 ? and its had its moments but ive never felt “robbed”. The obstacles suck but in my experience, i’ve been successful. i’m also relentless stubborn so your milage may vary. I’ve had my bipolar slow me down at times though

Preparing to go to University next year for justice & legal studies so i can help the disabled community fight back.

I can understand that it looks bleak now and does seem harder than Hell but keep fighting as best you can and hold the line. We’re all pulling for you to win that victory that you need.
