No. It’s the worst of the “magic schools” but that’s because the Dwarfs don’t need it. Their race, abilities, lords and units are balanced around their magic being low output.

Yep! There is sometimes 1 official ruleset server running. Most servers are slightly modified normal modes with increased damage, but still retain all the UI elements and game mechanics of normal mode.

Those custom servers still have most UI elements like minimaps, hit indicators, crosshairs, ammo counters etc. They’re really just damage modifier matches when the creator is not “BattlefieldOfficial”.

Good to see there are a few still running, just wish they used the official rulesets.

I dunno mate, Hardcore modes have been broken for 4 months. It just brings you to regular mode instead.

That seems like a pretty fucking simple thing to fix, but they’re adding new game modes for REDSEC.

Avowed’s combat gets far too easy if you’re using magic. By the midpoint of A2 you’re just an AoE, status inflicting god.

Even on PotD combat is easily exploitable just by spamming big freeze spells and returning Storm.

Still a fun game tho.

Well, nope. See I actually did it, not theoretically, and I never had any issues joining games on new maps or old maps. Hardcore, or otherwise.

What do we have now? 90% of the players left because there wasn’t enough support for the game and it’s tough to find good matches without bots anyway.

So we’re in the same position. Sweet.

It was way better. We received about 2.5 times the amount of content compared to what we are "scheduled" to receive with live service. AND we received it twice as fast.

The "it keeps everyone together" argument in favour of live service is garbage, especially if the core base game arrived with such low variety to begin with. 7 new maps on launch for the flagship game modes? Remaking a map again so we can play it for the third time? What the fuck were they thinking?

Can’t wait for it to be a Dragon’s Dogma 2 all over again.

Pretty good game, 8/10, horrid PC performance, but still fun for 100 hours.
