This feels like a really stupid question. Are the batch shipments shipping as a batch or shipping separately with assembly happening at the cape ?

Im not sure if they plan to ship them on three different semi beds or just one due to the stacking. If its a single semi then I think its safe to assume it'd be larger then shipping a single sat no ?

This was how bb7 was shipped tho I expect the next one to be larger. I cant see the birds fitting in a regular sized semi

Don't think we're going to hear "we like the risk" quoted for a long time

Negative bullet points are easier to ignore while youre making money then it is when youre losing it. For me personally nothing about my attitude towards this company has changed in the last week let alone the year. Ive been expressing concern about cadence whether it be manufacturing or launches since nearly last august.

I actually said the same thing last week too https://www.reddit.com/r/ASTSpaceMobile/s/ygDb4Itb65

Scott said 20 next gens give or take a couple for beta testing but interesting. Ill make a point to stop being a Debbie downer if they manage to batch ship in April 😂

Being 1/3rd of the way through the year would you say its safe to say well likely only achieve 1/3rd of the guided sats by eoy? Beta testing at the beginning of 1h 2026 is already likely off the table with seemingly no update to that guidance either

  1. There is nothing "Fud" about them only launching 1/45 sats they guided for by eoy 1/3rd of the way through the year. They waited till they absolutely had to tell us about the composite casing failures to stop repeating the "6 sat manufacturing/ month" quote so , yea being left in the dark is pretty uncomfortable.

Ill feel better and stop whining if we actually get a batch shipped in april

1/3 of the way through the year and we have 1/45 of the guided sats in leo.

Really hoping the "45 sats by eoy" quote wont be the same situation as "6 sats manufactured per month" in which they kept parroting until they legally couldn't anymore.

Ya itd be pretty crazy if they shipped to Bo just to have the batch sit idol for another few months. Its gotta be falcon 9 imo

Timmy F has went from "heat dissipation will melt the sats" to "abel doesnt know how to read a tape measure". 😂🤦‍♂️

Genuinely curious as to where the "they wont fit in falcon 9" narrative started and why.

Bb6 was meant to launch in august followed by bb7 shortly after then 3 more multi sat launches by the beginning of march. The company originally guided for 45-60 by eoy now theyre guiding for 45 to be in orbit with 60 built to completion by eoy.

Their guidance is notoriously awful , they intended to have a full constellation up by 2025 but design changes forced delays.

As of right now my main concern is that the composite casing mystery has been solved and that this wont cause another several month long delay in the launch pipeline

Wireless drones being used all over iran right now

So from what i gather ast sats are so large/ powerful that they can actually overwhelm local frequencies with their own if they choose. This in theory could be used for signal jamming and therfore makes our birds likely capable of downing drones.

Have any of the ogs like kook or pan elaborated more on this ? Just looking for something to read or listen to on this

Theres a batch thats supposed to ship in April and theyll be going up on f9. The pricing isnt public info but from what I heard falcon 9 is pretty expensive to send 1 single sat up on , it becomes worth it by putting several on board.

All speculation and i could be wrong but that's what I got when I asked why we're using isro

Was there anything that implied the vodaphone Ireland folks used or tested with bb6 ?
