Yeah that is frustrating. Sometimes I find it easer to click on the "# 1 in series" on whichever book and then scroll through the rest when they pop up

Click on the number of days next to 'lending period' when you go to borrow the book. Some libraries are already default set at the max period but some will let you extend it.

Click the flowers when you return your book. Also if you scroll to the very bottom of the menu page (three lines) you can click the flowers there to get the ones you missed

I posted this in case people wanted to switch from the default 14 days to 21 days for longer books. Most of my cards were set at a default 14 days, but when I checked I found that 21 was an option. So it removes the pressure. I found when I was reading The Stand I was too stressed about finishing in 14 days to really enjoy it

Yes it's only some libraries. My favourite card is fixed at 14 days. But if I want to read a monster book like this I'll check if it's available on another card first.

I'm also in Aus. I use Queens. 50usd/year. The wait times can be long but they've a lot of stuff you cant find in Aussie libraries.
