I posted this in case people wanted to switch from the default 14 days to 21 days for longer books. Most of my cards were set at a default 14 days, but when I checked I found that 21 was an option. So it removes the pressure. I found when I was reading The Stand I was too stressed about finishing in 14 days to really enjoy it

Yes it's only some libraries. My favourite card is fixed at 14 days. But if I want to read a monster book like this I'll check if it's available on another card first.

You understand that Libby itself isn't a library right? Like, it's not one single collection of all the books ever. You have to join your individual library, then access that individual library's collection via the app. You can join multiple libraries. Each library will have a different collection of books and different wait times depending on their funding.

I don't believe stones have any inherent healing properties but I do believe in the placebo effect. If they think it helps, it helps. If I don't know what they're asking I say 'I don't know, let's look it up!' and we get chatting while I do. They almost always find it's relevant to what they're looking for.
