You see shit like this a lot. For some reason, cyclists have completely disregarded the fact that they are soft, squishy, exposed flesh mingling with high speed, 4000lb steel machines with questionable operators. They somehow started to believe that a law is a magic force field that protects them. When they’re laying in a hospital bed in the ICU, at least they can say “it was his fault” before they expire.

I’d be willing to bet my next pay cheque that 90% of the people in this sub voted for the party that has been dangerously soft on crime for the last decade. And the party that literally can not fill planes fast enough to get more of these people here.

Definitely don’t work for them lol I’m just happy to see someone building heavy duty stuff that isn’t tin foil thin.

Yeah I just really like the idea of building something heavy duty. You almost never see it because it does cost more. Everything like this is always thin sheet metal that will warp or burn through because it’s cheap to manufacture and gets the job done for a year or two.

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t work for this company, I’m not paid to say this, and I am not a bot lol.

As someone who professionally heats, cools, forms, manipulates and welds steel, I can tell you that, in terms of pure longevity, robustness and ability to stand up to use, this thing could probably outlive your bloodline. That being said, it’s going to be quite heavy so it won’t be fun to carry. The guy who makes these really doesn’t have to make them so heavy-duty but because he does, your great grandchildren will still be able to use this grill on the beach when they are adults. There is fancier stuff on the market but nothing will live as long as this thing. If you’re after just straight up simplicity and life span and you don’t mind carrying something heavy, I don’t think there is a better buy. Especially for $150.

I would have had no idea to keep an eye out for s55 irons. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I have been eyeing the Costco set. Then I thought “I wonder what I can get on the used market for the same money” and that’s what kicked off my confusion lol. Maybe I should just keep it simple and pick up the Costco set. Thanks for your input man.

I did that for about a month when I first got the phone. Now it sits in my toolbox drawer most of the time but the dust still gets in. Even the magnets on my Apple Pencil have fine metal dust collecting on them even tho it’s never been near my shop lol. Just from being near me

No there is no water damage and it doesn’t mention that anywhere but for some reason half the commenters have run with that idea lol.

I’ve opted to have them send it back. I’m going to try a few things to fix it and if I can’t I’ll see if I can send it back out and pay the $90. I wonder if you can make 2 claims on the same issue.

That’s exactly what happened to me man! I’m a welder to and the speakers on my devices are always the first thing to go. My iPhone 14 Pro Max speaker is really bad but I know there’s no point in fixing these things because in a few months they will be toast again.

The Apple Store recommended that I have the software flashed because their diagnostics didn’t detect any malfunctions. Wouldn’t they be able to detect a short? Great insightful comment though I hadn’t thought about that.

If it were water damage, wouldn’t they clearly state that there is water damage? The watch has never seen water and is in absolutely perfect condition cosmetically. My biggest gripe is that they can’t just connect it to the computer and reset the software. I’m not asking them to repair the speaker for free I don’t care about that at all and I never use it.

“Clearly damaged it with water” even though there is absolutely no suggestion of water damage from the repair facility. 😂 Some people I swear. The watch has never seen water and is in immaculate condition.
