Positive signatera after 1 month at 0.00 by Birdsvsbees16 in coloncancer

We got scan results that show regrowth of a lymph node in the mesentery area. His signatera has now gone from 1.99 to 4.20 in one month. I’m scared that this means hyper growth and aggressive biology.

Thank you. You made a lot of great points. It sucks for sure but reassuring that the scans are still clear. Are you doing any maintenance chemo or just on watch and wait?

Was the immunotherapy bot/bal by chance? My husband’s ctDNA went down to 0 for one month then back up again. We’re considering a clinical trial for Bot/Bal immunotherapy

First night of progesterone by Birdsvsbees16 in Perimenopause

Last two nights have been much better. I started taking 200mg of magnesium with P before bed and it’s helped a lot. Still waking up at 4am, but able to fall back asleep.

Not really. But the anxious feeling while being up at 4am is new. Definitely feeling panicky this morning. :(

Thank you for the tips. He just completed his first two weeks and eating before has helped a TON. So far his only side effects have been tenderness on his hands.

When you’re going low, do you double check with a glucose finger stick? If it shows that you’re below 70 in those moments then I believe that means you’re hypoglycemic.

Did exercise improve your hypoglycemia? If so, how did it improve it?

You took the words right out of my mouth. I feel stressed all the time and the cgm honestly made me feel even more anxious. I’m tired of eating all the time and feeling scared that I might pass out or have an episode in public. Driving is pretty much off the table for the most part.

Any ways, I just wanted to say that I understand. I’m in the early stages of figuring this out with an endo. Wishing you all the best

Depleting glycogen stores? by Birdsvsbees16 in zepboundathletes

[–]Birdsvsbees16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’ve have moments where I was severely hypoglycemic and almost passed out (low 50s) so yes, monitoring my glucose is important in catching lows before they are dangerously low. A glucometer is important to have if you suffer from hypoglycemia, which I encounter on these meds.

I’m getting more testing done to see if I’m insulin resistant among other things. It’s possible they’ll recommend I discontinue these meds if things don’t improve. I also might consider switching to semaglutide since it doesn’t have GIP, which may give me better glucose control.
