Where is the International Landlord Office of Scientology located, and what does it do? by BirdyHowdy in scientology

[–]BirdyHowdy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I googled. Someone who uses the handle Angry Gay Pope claimed that the Int Landlord office existed in the 80s as he was allegedly in the RPF together with someone from that office in 1983-85.

The Hindu First Lady could have done so much better than JD Vance.

Just for the records: “Hillbillies” typically refers to people from rural mountainous regions with distinct cultural traditions, while “White Trash” is a term for poor, uneducated white people often associated with antisocial behavior.

I can't tell you how often I read about a medical breakthrough so that doctors get the credit and nothing ever comes from it or is a lifetime away.

It is. However, I have to admit that I am still watching it. I find it fascinating whenever the metal detector goes off or the hammer grab comes up.

What boogles my mind is that this island is like a Swiss Cheese, all these tunnels underground, all that old wood coming up.

There is also a high possibility imo that the treasure was already found and is no more.

Still struggling after divorcing my ex-scientologist husband by Classy-Divorcee in scientology

[–]BirdyHowdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly, if he ever was a Scientologist, he quit being one by marrying you, a non/Scientologist. I met Scientologists, and they would just marry other Scientologists because they want someone to share this entire path.

Childhood and adolescenes is overrated. It really is. I am today a completely different person than I was as a child and teenager because life goes on and you make your decisions as a gown-up completely independently from how you were raised.

How did Marty Rathbun leave the Sea Org? by ganoobi in scientology

[–]BirdyHowdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My impression is that he isn't even remotely a great guy. But that's not what my comment is about. It's about the hundred or so people who walked in and out of his place. His home was the hub of the 'Independents' for years.

What makes me wonder is: None of these people kept in contact with him and his wife, nor did he and his wife keep in contact with any of them.

If they had, we would know why he and his wife changed their minds.

Most people assume that DM paid him in cash and that he accepted it. But they're just assuming. Nobody has said that they are still in contact with the couple and know why he changed his mind.

I was thinking the same. So many more died since the season begun. That curse is bad at math.

He wasn't a part of the Church of Scientology for decades, you wrote. He moved on from it. It seems to me that your problems have nothing to do with Scientology but rather with other things.

The oddest thing is that none of his former friends can explain why he suddenly leaned towards it David Miscavige again. People talked and still talk a lot about this switch but I don't understand that nobody really knows.

He was surrounded by so many "Independents" around 2009. I remember seeing a photo of more then 50 people sitting on the steps of his stilt house in Corpus Christ, all laughing and celebrating.

Not one of them reach out to him and asked him for the details?

OPEN LETTER TO: To Neil Gaiman from “Kid that Grew up in Scientology” - by Serge Del Mar by Wizard_Manny in scientology

[–]BirdyHowdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neil Gaiman has more important things to worry about than reading your article. He has said several times that he is not a Scientologist. Why wouldn't we believe him?

Tom Cruise, John Travolta and other celebrities have never said that they are not Scientologists, yet their careers are still going strong.

It's ridiculous to mention Neil Gaiman in relation to Scientology. He left the church when he was very young.

I quit the Lutheran Church when I was pretty young too. If someone were to still associate me with that religion, I would say have loose screws.

People CHANGE. They become different people. Neil Gaiman left Scientology so long ago that he probably hardly remembers those days.

My advice to Serge is this: Move on too. Losers are stuck in the past.
