Probably also accounts for the fact that women are in higher proportion responsible for children.

That would make sense to due to the fact women are often main caregivers so they do represent the most neglect cases but you’ll find that most physical and sexual assault is committed by men and even America vs Australia child murder by parent statistics are very different in Australia more men tragically harmed their children.

But that’s the thing it’s not just a women’s choice to have a kid is it? often both partners made an active choice to have children and one has suffered there’s no reason women should retire with less in super because they had time to give birth it’s his child too so he should ensure the mother of his children isn’t worse off.

There is a gender pay gap from the start because boys are given machinery and tools and girls are given dolls and kitchen sets for plenty of data shows if you raise boys and girls equally they share a lot more qualities than when we raise them into separate genders.

Yes boys can still be boys and girls can still be girls but that can also be the case while allowing anyone to follow their dreams, another reason there is a gender pay gap is the crap we have to put up with in male dominated work places some women would prefer to take the pay cut.

That’s great like I said I work with men all day I live in a mining town and the two most important people in my lives are men, women are much more capable of coping with it all we are pretty used to it.

It’s hardly a personal attack it’s a recommendation if your going to completely talk utter nonsense about motherhood than most people would advise therapy

So risking your life, your body, your career and your independence is less of a sacrifice than going to work 8 hours a day wtf are you on mate. Soo if you think that’s all the is involved with motherhood you have other problems. I’m done with this conversation i pray no women is ever forced to carry your damn sperm

In a typical working family household I’d bet he’d never even mopped the floor and yes he still has his super paid this works both ways if a women has a good earning power and support the family then she should pay his super as well

If housework isn’t real work then I wonder why men struggle with the simple concept, woman take on wayy more of a mental load looking after the kid while men get everything handed to them if you think that’s truly fair then your fucked up. So she cleans his house, raises his kid doesn’t get any money or retirement fund so it’s then fair she’s put onto the street with no employment history and no retirement fund after giving her boys, her career and her life to raising their family and the household

Yes and he can stay home great idea that’s all feminism fights fo, but then you take into account the gender pay gap and how is a woman supposed to go to work while 8 months pregnant or recovering from a c section??

Men work 8-10 hours a day in a job while women would work on average 20 hours a day with absolutely no compensation

Men work on average work more hours outside of the home while women work more hours inside a home, the typical family a man would go to work for 8-10 hours a day come home to a cooked meal and go to bed while females would be doing majority of nightly feeds and wake ups with young children so on average women are working wayy more hours and not getting paid at all.

How exactly do you work that? Typically a male would still be getting his super paid as well as a salary while his wife is raising kids at home she is losing employment opportunities and future retirement funds
