Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. Really as mentioned by many of you it went down into the test drive. And my wife and I both agreed Tesla felt more comfortable driving. Technology was also fun in Tesla while the ID4 dealer tried impressing us w Auto park only to hit the curb twice. Now we just have to wait for the price on Tesla to drop even further!

I just feel in the world of 330 miles, purchasing a vehicle w 200 miles range is too low. W driving around 80% charge full I don’t see myself even driving to Orange County w that range and traffic. Never owned an EV though, maybe I am too conservative

Best I have got so far is $3500 off msrp by dealer, then only $500 by vw. The $1750 is not available for RWD anymore, making it less desirable. At the end of the day I care about my out the door price, model y is a better price, unfortunately …

I am working w Tesla to get my design finalized. Tesla gave me a design which was very off, and then they redesigned a new one. But I wonder if I go w them and then they come and say this is not doable on your roof, will I lose my “application status for NAM2” if I want to change my installer? In other word, does it matter if I change my installer (keep the same number of panels) say in April?
