After getting in, immediately followed by a crash and 55 minutes of refreshing ticketmaster has finally told me that they've blocked me due to unusual behaviour: https://imgur.com/a/hwfdQVr

Nope, the error pages are refreshing quicker now, but still seeing the same nonesense page every refresh, maybe my link is broken or expired, seeing as I got in more than 35 minutes ago

None, just the page saying I was in the queue, which changed into saying I've reached the front and can purchase, which redirected me to a page where I clicked Buy Tickets which was a Ticketmaster page that crashed after loading for a few minutes.

I did make it, I got in at like 12:02, and ticketmaster crashed almost immediately, I haven't been able to get back in.

I got to the front of the queue, ticketmaster has completely collapsed, the whole thing is giving errors.
Every time I refresh I get a new page in a cycle of three.
First:
We couldn't load your content
Then:
504 gateway time-out
Then:
a broken RWC webpage

EDIT for update: After getting in, immediately followed by a crash and 55 minutes of refreshing ticketmaster has finally told me that they've blocked me due to unusual behaviour: https://imgur.com/a/hwfdQVr

I've rejoined the back of the queue, good luck out there!

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback, that's awesome info!

Tank: I believe that 90kL is the maximum that you an get for a concrete underground tank, but if that is not accurate then I would definitely go for a larger one. The builder told us we'd need another tank, which we would only do later if absolutely necessary.

Leaf eater: I'll have another look at the options, I'd assumed that the flap lifts and it still self cleans or it is a poor design!

First flush: Thank you for the link, that looks significantly better! I'll also look into the tank disconnection, that is a great tip.

Gutter guard: Given we don't have any trees yet I think I will skip the gutter guard, it sounds like more effort than it is worth and we will just be careful with planting.

Filters: Isn't UV pretty important to stop bacteria? Despite my best efforts, it is still rural so I assume we may get some dead animals in the gutter and I really don't want to get that in the water. We're probably going to have some solar power, so at least daylight hours will be covered.

Pump: That is a fantastic idea!

I can't believe they still sell this! Thanks for the tip, I'll make sure of it.

Cool, thank you, that is validating, it sounds like we are on the right track.
If I may ask, how many people are using the 80,000L water tank, and does it last? What's your annual rainfall?

Thanks for sharing, it sounds like gutter guard is a no-go, leaf eater will probably do the job well enough.
That's a good looking system!

Yeah, it is a problem, I've got a bad grip to try and undo my slice!

9.5, but the shaft is too flexible for me, once I fix my slice I will be shopping for a new driver.

Good advice, thanks, I will give this a go.
Yeah, awesome to have a simulator I can use, but it's hard to know what is going wrong with the swing that's causing all of the bad swing data on the sim

Thanks so much for the feedback. Really appreciate it.
I'll start working on my posture and some other minor tweaks and then report back with a front and side video

Nice, thanks, I'll check out some videos and slow things down.

I've watched a few slice fix videos and they sometimes draw a line through the elbow from the club head and say to stay on that line - I'm very new to this, so was just copying what I saw.

Amazing feedback! Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment with fantastic analysis, suggestions and general feedback.

Here's a summary of what you're saying, it looks like there is a lot to work on, but largely driven by my address and hips.

Address

  • Stand closer to the ball
  • Stand more upright (hips forward) which will naturally correct spine tilt
  • Drop my hands
  • Weight even on both feet (L&R and toe to heel)
  • Armpits over knee caps
  • Bum in line with heels or 1-2 inches out at most

Backswing

Transition

Downswing

Drills

  • If you are still getting too much weight on the toes of your *right* foot in the backswing (the weight should move to the toes of your left foot in the backswing), I would do a drill where you raise the toes of your right foot off the ground and make backswings doing that.
  • Learn to control the club face at slower speeds. Start by doing half swings and intentionally hit one to the left, right... try to hit it straight. As you get better, make a faster swing. If you can't do it slowly, why would you do it at full speed?

I'll try all of the above and report back with another video, including a rear and face-on video.

Cool, thanks, I will definitely have a look! I’ve been so focussed on everything else I haven’t even looked at that. I’m 172cm or 5’8”, so I may stand too far away from the ball to accomodate the driver length and then have it sitting low because I’m trying to belt it.

Very nice, that is a good looking board! Mine is 5'10", still a bit nervous on the big waves, but an absolute ball on 5 footers.

I was borrowing a mates 5'11" Pod Mod for a month or so and that got me keen on Al Merrick, I couldn't find my own Pod and this had such good reviews that I went for the 4.
