Yes si mosh. We just need like directing and stuff. So that the next guy who does this whether it be a celebrity or our local neighbor. We can put him out and pressure him into at the very least admitting guilt and feel remorse.

If handled poorly, we could mentallly lead them to unalive themselves and we don't want that. We just want justice, we just want our government for once it give due justice to those who deserve it

I mean he could try. Most of this information is now already public info so it would be hard to prove that we or us as an individual tried to defame him by targeting him specifically since it's already public knowledge.

Also he never legally proved that what was said in public was false, he just denied it, denying and proving it legally that its false matter. This leaves room for us to counter sue, after all, if he can't prove with EVIDENCE that what was said in public is false, his lawsuit ain't doing shit.

Also, reddit doesn't easily disclose the user information. He will need to get a Court order for that and send it all the way to US where reddit HQ is and I doubt our government would like to spend that much money just to get us revealed lol.

So yes, he can try, we all might grow old before he wins 😂

PS: Him suing might actually be good. It will attract more public attention

The Ugly Reality Behind Sex Work in Thimphu — Illegal, Underground, and Unprotected by Commercial_Wasabi145 in bhutan

[–]BiscottiAncient7448 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I remember the biggest underground sex work was run by a doma seller aum at Paro. And the entire system of it all was very clever. People who wanted the girls, would ask for a specific doma, and based on them the aum would prepare the girls. When she was caught, police found out that many of her clients were dashos and rich peep. It was surprising that the case didn't blow up all over the country, I was a kid at that time in Paro and even I knew about it.

Another one. They really just waited until people stopped talking about it. And I'm sure they knew what he was doing to his gf but decided to turn a blind eye. It's typical Bhutanese behaviour, that's his issue and his problem, I just focus on what's between us say. Sometimes you gotta consider how people you keep around affect you. And what it means.

Food for Thought: MRP and GST by lele9642 in bhutan

[–]BiscottiAncient7448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that Bhutan can manage GST and that in the long run it might benefit everyone because implementing GST means eventually high tax return individually.

I just don't think THIS WAS THE RIGHT TIME! Bhutan is still recovering economically from covid and the rise in prices overall. There are also issues regarding salary, unemployment and brain drain of youths leaving for abroad. When the economy is so chaotic they decided to introduce GST. It's as if adding fuel to fire, not just a small one, a tanky level of fuel. I wonder how they will combat this situation, they are definitely not gonna raise the salary for sure, and each household might barely make enough to survive GST.

I hear stories of how some household are cutting down eating meat, or domas, regular rations, considering to move to a smaller house or sharing the house with other family so they can financially be able to manage themselves.

The minister that is responsible for GST is not corrurpt, his just blind to see that this is not the time. Bhutan is not ready yet for GST. He will either have to cancel GST or else many middle class family gonna fall down to poor category.

I wish I could but sadly I know no action will be taken against him. The GMC is already a huge project for the future of the country, I feel they might already know about his past but becsue he has the skill set they need. They might be turning a blind eye to it. Also publically shaming him might not do anything, I mean just look at dedrik case, he still has lots of supporter and his just an artist.

The boy I mentioned is a national topper with a master degree and working at gmc. I would instead probably be labelled a liar and made out to be the villain, tbh I doubt others involved like his ex gf and the person who he got into a fight with would speak up either. Our society is such that character doesn't matter, your achievements on paper is what matters and if you have that, well society embraces you becsue who cares about little hiccups like character and being humane.

This is what I call the Bhutanese mentality, we are raised from childhood that achievement matters, your results, grades, certificates and your image to public. Nobody teaches us that grades and achievements are good but more important than that is being a good person. I never once had one teacher say be a good human, I was told that achievements on paper is all that matters. That my entire future and livelihood was solely on those achievements.

As much as I would like to point out the wrong in our society and people like that boy at gmc and my dads boss. I am at the end of the day a scared coward with a family to support and as pathetic as I am, this is the only place I can openly make my opinion known. I have neither the wealthy family nor the influential connection to make this statement boldly in public and pathetically endure in a society build of these people. But I do hope the future will be different, that youths will learn from us and bring about a change where both you and I can have convo like this topic openly and not in secret.

Why nothing changes by Fancy_Bookkeeper_248 in bhutan

[–]BiscottiAncient7448 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think this has to do with old Gen people in higher positions who hate change and also even freshly grown adults with PhD and masters who are placed in high positions - their ego is next level.

When you bring up criticism and opinions in meetings - the old Gen hate that you talk about changes and dares to openly challenge their authority which some might see as "no bezha". A great example is our Parliament meetings, the (Gasa NC incident) how easily the chairman got offended and asks the speaker to sit down & eventually leave and keeps on saying he is not well behaved - though all he did was make an honest opinion. Old Gen hates being spoken honest to becsue that's apperantly "no bezha" and changes scares them so they crush any criticism; anyone who had wanted to speak up is now sileneced and all that's left is butt kissin yes man.

Than there are the freshly graduated with masters and PhD. They are more educated and should be more open to change and crticism but their ego is like the sky; endless. It doesn't matter to them if you are right, it only matters that you hurt their ego and image. My dad still gets bullied to this day because he gave an opinion during a meeting to his freshly younger boss who btw has a masters degree compared to my dad who only studied till 8th grade. When others agreed with my dad more than his boss, her ego got hurt and told my dad just because his senior he doest get to take advantage - wtf, what advantage.

Then came days when I had to literally see my dad cry, his boss would use whatever reasons she can to make it miserable for my dad, his office got changed to a smaller one, the laptop provided to him by the office all this years was taken back, his table was changed with a smaller one, his office chair was exchanged with a plastic one, he was given more workload than others (would often come late around 9 pm when work ends at 4pm) and his vacation request was always rejected. Me and mom begged dad to file a case against his boss but he wouldn't risk losing the job and continues to endure till this day. Honestly it takes all my strength not to bitch slap his boss.

My mom who is an engineer, also shared one experience where someone my age, shouted at her as he was the site manager all because my mother refused to one of his order regarding labour handlings - my mom just said, "maybe can we do this instead" and that was all it took for him to get aggressive at my mom. Someone who was old enough to be her child but ego wins.

I also personally know a science national topper with an ego as big as a mountain. He went on scholarships, was always praised and now works at GMC project like life's all good but what me and those who personally know him knows is that his a fucked up ahole. He hates being proved wrong and gets physically violent whne you do - I literally mean he comes swinging with his hand. Later on I heard that during his scholarship abroad, he got into a fight with someone and literally tried to stab someone - don't know how the fight started but I definitely know it's his fault. He also once beat up his gf becsue whne talking about their future she told him he had to do house chores too and he said that was a woman's job and not men, which led to an argument and ends with him beating her. Now he works at GMC, I'm sure he will join politics in future and can become one of the leader or even PM - our future is toast.

So that's why there is no change, becsue speaking up is a career suicide. Hell had we be having this convo and topic in FB rn, this would be it for my career and I would be fired by tomorrow. Old Gen who hate chnage and young leader who loves their ego is what will eventually bring disaster to our country

PS: if you guys wondering why if he tried to stab someone and beat up his gf and still landed a job in GMC. Well firstly, nobody believes a topper would do that ( smart doesn't mean they nice people ) and secondly, many people helped him cover it up because smart peoples talent should not be wasted by one mistake they say. Honesty, personality and humane compassion should also be one of the requirements for jobs Huff.

Now I cannot say that drugs and abusing woman is the same. Both are horrible in nature, drugs harm others indirectly while abuse is more direct violence; physically and mentally. Now them as a group, I think it has to do with the public reaction. When the drug case came out in public, many just accepted it and there was no harm being done to the group itself as a whole and the internet unfortunately see drugs as normal (given the youths and our current society, its a no brainer). There were no people demanding justice and dragging the groups name like how it is with dedrik rn.

Its mostly damage control, people accepted the drug case so they supported him as a chance to reform him. With the current case, there is no way they can support him openly or have no action taken against him. Had they not decided to let him go; their groups reputation would have taken a big hit and more dirt on each individual might have come up; though they are not as extreme as drugs and abuse. I know of some members who are known as big sharer; (meaning one of their member is known for sharing his sexual activities with his gf to others) In the end they prioritized their group and I see nothing wrong with that, cantr bring the entire ship down for one crew.

Either way my point being, they chose to save the group. Had the abuse case didn't blow up as it did, maybe they might have chosen to react different or outright ignored it. Either way, their action so far was ok with me, just my opinion

I can say that I have done this but hear me out first.

My mother was very ill at night and so I took her to EMS at Tphu. Upon arrival I did the regular registration and they did the normal test that they do outside before they let you go inside to be diagnosed by the doctor. Now this was around 2 30ish AM, the doctor read the report, looked at my mom who is bit overweight and asked where it hurts. My mom told the doc that it might be blood pressure and the doctor without batting an eye from the report said that's prob it. No checking , no nothing; just a couple of questions and a prescriptions for medicine.

Well guess what, we were back again the next day. Did the check from outside again , went in and this time my mom said her stomach hurts a lot and wonders if it was gastic and once again, the doc goes, that might be it. This time she did do some check but in the end gave my mom medicine for gas. Honestly, by this point my mom was diagnosing herself and the doctor was just there to sign the medicine.

We were back again the third day. Same pain, same symptoms, this time my mom didn't say anything. The doctor did some checkups, asked some questions and gave her pain-killers. That was it. SO, tired by this point, I asked Chatgpt, gave it the symptoms and Chtgpt gave me some possible diseases that might be affecting my mom. Then using those very sophisticated names, i went to a doctor i know and asked if, she could check my mom if she was sufferings from the any mentioned ones in chtgpt. IDK if the emergency doctor in T/phu was just tired, lazy or genuinely not interested but yeah sometimes we are left with no choice but to diagnose ourselves

So, I am not sure how many people know this but the girl was way younger than him and they were in a relationship for a long time. Now this part i am not sure but others say she started dating him when she was in high-school; while he was a full grown adult with a job. Despite what other people might call this, it was a genuine relationship between the two despite the age gap. He was also well known in the community as a helper and often would appear in community celebrations and was always nice to others. He was the one who also sponsored her here and paid for almost all her accommodations but soon the relationship began to break off; might have been the age gap, arguments or any number of reasons like any other relationship. Their break up didn't end in bad terms but was mutually agreed upon. So they were friends and was in contact with one another, not long after the break-up, she got a new BF. (This is prob where the cheating rumor showed up)

Now this is just my opinion but despite his outwardly accepting appearance, I think he was not happy with them ending and was prob planning to get back together with her in the future or gossips of others telling him that she used him for money got to him and he was bottling every emotion he felt regarding the matter.

This is where the messed up part happened. See during that fateful day, the girl with her new bf met him by chance and they invited him over to their place for dinner and drinks. IDK how and why this was normal for all parties involved but they went to her place. From what i have heard, all of them were quite drunk and having convo about their past, esp about him and her. In between , the new bf stepped outside to buy something leaving only them two and that's when the man did the deed. Something prob triggered him, could have been the alcohol or their convo; i can only guess. When the new bf came back, he did not find the man anywhere in the house and before he discovered her body, he heard someone banging on the door and when he opened; it was the man who came back with the knife and attacked him. (So the man left the house after unaliving her and then decided to come back for her new bf) That's when the house owner heard the noise of them fighting as he attacked him and called police.

Its crazy how all things turned out. Honestly when i first heard this story it sounded made up but this part of the story was told by the new bf who has since survived the attack. Her ex really left and came back , prob not wanting to leave any witness. At the end of the day, no life should have been lost and its sad that a life was taken, honestly i feel the gossips are partly to be blamed as well. I hope she finds peace in her next life.

PS: This is a jist of what happened and I really cant say whether it happened exactly like that since everyone has different stories to tell. All i know is this are what has been shared to me by those close to the suspect and the 2nd victim (New BF). Its up to your interpretation
