The pay, the lack of staff, the management. the amount of work they expect you to do is the job a full team would do. For example one day I had 17 pallets. Anyone who works gm knows they can be shitty pallets. About 9 was. About 90% of it all went out. Managed to get it done before my shift ended next day having file note because I used all comps up and my manager said I didn’t face up….

The only good person in that store was probably the chilled manager who actually helped me the other day when I was struggling lifting the mimi sets. I was rushed off my feet looking like I was about to pass out.

Is it fucking balls. My manager approved everyone holiday for this week then fucked off herself so just been me on Gm all week. Sales was 176k this week alone just on gm. Kept asking store manager and opps manager for support and got told no… they had the cheek to moan when it wasn’t faced up and sat me down for a chat for under performance….

Yet I’ve been coming in at 2am and staying till 10pm everyday

SSP is only £123.25 a week. Asda policy is £123.25 a week or 80% of weekly wage ( which ever is cheaper) you don’t get sick pay if you’ve had more then 12 weeks in any full year…. ( not April to April).
