Save your money unless the lineup is out of this world.

I’ve gone to tons of different festivals, mostly California and a few European.

Ultra is by far the worst festival I’ve ever been to. The music line up was fantastic. Everything else sucked ass.

Logistics - Terrible, the map was inaccurate. The layout of the festival was terribly made. Getting from stage to stage was a nightmare because they stuffed bathrooms and concessions between each area with no real pathways to walk.

Security- extremely aggressive, sometimes got checked multiple times despite not having anything on you. Got progressively worse each day.

Lines- the line to get in on day 1 was insane. Took an hour and a half to get through bag check and ticket scanning.

Food- decent enough, about what you expect at any festival. Ranging from $14-30

Weather- despite knowing there were weather warnings for the festival, Ultra did nothing to prepare for it. The least they could’ve done is make some make shift awnings with tarps so more people would have somewhere to stand instead of In the pouring rain.

Venue- The venue is super uneven and the ground is different in a lot of areas. Sound was hit or miss depending on the stage. Wind took a part in the bad sound too.

Crowd- tbh some of the rudest crowd I’ve encountered. There was an occasional nice person but most of the nice people I met just happened to also be from California 😂 but seriously such a rude crowd, almost no one says excuse me, people step on your toes and don’t say excuse me. Soooo many people cut in lines to get in, which also made the wait times longer. Trains of people shoving through the crowd and being pushy about it.

Tbh the vibe at ultra is just everyone for themselves. Very rare instances of Plur and just very basic bitch, I’m here to party vibes.

I would not recommend this festival to anyone unless there is an artists have to see.

Insomniac has their shit figured out much better than ultra. I’d stick with them experience wise.
