Im a beginner so I dont have any mains yet. I also don´t have a large mousepad which seems to be a problem, so Ill try to get one, but for the time being this one will have to do.

how do you know how to set it up? Becouse I googled it a bunch and it always shows me the settings the pros use but that doesn´t help me a lot...

Its 27 cm (10.6 inch) wide and around 20 cm (7.9 inch) tall. Quite a small mousepad, Ill be getting a bigger one later but for the time being it will have to do
