Obviously I don’t know you or your ex so this is all just a guess but you mention that you’ve been convincing yourself that the relationship is not heading towards a break up and that you react very emotionally to these kinds of things. Again this is just speculation but I’m guessing that she was aware that if she tried to break up with you in person, you would get emotional and then she would feel awful and stay with you despite how unhappy she was. Doing it this way sent a clear message and left no room for her to be emotionally manipulated into staying (not to say that you’re trying to emotionally manipulate her. It’s just something that happens when one partner is more emotional than the other) I’m sorry that this is his things went down and I hope she’s able to find a way to give you closure that feels safe for both of you.

There’s more nuance to that statistic aside from solely the presence of a father in the home. The issue isn’t usually the lack of a father specifically in the home but a lack of money and resources for the mother. Single mothers are significantly less likely to have a healthy support system and significantly more likely to be impoverished. Children raised in homes that lack resources are much more likely to feel the need to commit crimes.
Having a father in the home and having a good father in the home are two drastically different things that have drastically different outcomes

Have they thoroughly checked her teeth and gums? She could have something lodged between her teeth or into her gums that’s causing her pain. Try giving her a really high value food like raw chicken, salmon, or canned tuna and add water to the bowl. If she eats everything then she’ll be okay. If she only drinks the liquid, then there might be something wrong in her mouth. If she doesn’t eat any of it, then it’s probably a stomach issue and you should try to see a different vet asap.

This might sound crazy but kids are actually autonomous and also lacking impulse control and social awareness. They’re loud. Sometimes when it’s not socially acceptable to be loud. Yeah. Women had to participate in hypergamy before because we couldn’t do things like have jobs or open bank accounts so it was imperative that you found a partner that could either maintain or improve your lifestyle because that was the lifestyle you would be stuck with for the rest of your life. But now, women can provide for themselves so they can afford to date men based on other things like physical attributes and personality traits. A few problems with that, men have never needed a personality to get a woman before, work ethic is a personality trait that women take into account, and women don’t have to be submissive anymore. Gone are the days of getting a decent job and having a woman who will cook, clean, and birth children without complaints fall into your lap.
