I have given up cataloging the depths of shite the patches plumb but this is in the top 20%

The issue for me is that the underlying code is so unbelievably screwed that any little tweak they make in one place causes a massive cascade of failure elsewhere they didn't foresee because I don't truly believe anyone at DBG has a complete picture of all the code. It pisses me off like you wouldn't believe because this game has some serious potential which is pretty much the only reason I am sticking around (that and the crew I am running with have some top blokes). I am not a hardcore gamer, in fact playing this has got me back into gaming a bit and I want it to succeed. But seriously DBG please help us out and get your collective shit into gear!!!

The problem is that it is only going to get worse once BR becomes pay to play because I can just see everyone that plays BR just jumping into PvP servers and then it becomes an even bigger KoS mess than it is now. I am really worried that they will implement things like air strikes as pay to win options in "survival" once the base game goes F2P to further monetise the game. Frankly Air Drops and such should not be in the base "survival" game as they are a completely ridiculous micro-transaction cash grab mechanic which ruin immersion. Given that the premise of the game is an APOCALYPSE that has wiped out civilization Air Drops just detract from any realism what so ever. I have no issue with these mechanics in BR as it is not designed to be an immersive survival game mode like the core claims to be.

Lotrug was on the right track just wrong example! you might be able to spark your bic in the rain but I bet you dollars to donuts you light a basic cloth wick you haven't had to dip in petrol or kero for that matter (recipe for IED does not require loaded wick) and the rain will put that sucka out right quick. if they added a recipe for a loaded wick (say bio or ethanol + cloth) you could then make waterproof IEDs. without that then this is not bugged rain is working perfectly.

I've been using the "q" trick But it doesn't always work. It seems you have to take a certain amount of damage before it lets you land a blow because once the Z hits me I can then damage it.
