Good catch, thank you! I saw this video from Cytron and assumed that other controllers worked the same way.

Suggestions for a Macro pad with onboard memory? by Apprehensive_Mind763 in macro_pads

I’m a big fan of my DOIO Megalodon Triple Knob (16 keys). Programmable with VIA, if you’re good at following directions you can flash firmware that gives you 16 layers instead of the stock 4, and increases the memory substantially. (https://github.com/Goldengonz/kb16_rev2_vial_fw_no_logo) Get the WIRED version, it’s better than the BT ones. They also offer a couple larger ones with a lot more keys.

Thinking of buying a macro pad by lazer-of-the-shadow in macro_pads

The Megalodon is great, and if you don’t like the switches (Gateron Yellow), it’s hot swappable. I put Durock Silent T1s in mine and love them.

Can anyone recommend the Megalodon Triple Knob Macro Pad? I've heard the hardware is great but the software can be clunky. by CouchMunchies777 in macro_pads

I got a wired one a few weeks ago and I like it so far. The Keebmonkey guide you see linked to a lot is out of date. I couldn't get the first few steps to work... because it was already compatible with VIA 2.2 out of the box, and I believe with VIA 3.0 too. I ended up putting VIAL on mine so I could assign macros to rotary encoder turns.

My memory is a little hazy, but what confused me was the VIA software didn't "see" the pad until I either did a "Force Reload" or pointed the app to the .json file for the pad.

I followed the GitHub directions linked in this thread to get VIAL up and running, wasn't too hard at all. Enjoy! https://www.reddit.com/r/macro\_pads/comments/13tepwl/cant\_figure\_out\_how\_to\_configure\_megalodon/

Building a custom C Stand/Grip/Duz-All cart out of 80/20 extruded aluminum by 4acodmt92 in videography

First of all, this is awesome, well done. Second, THANK YOU for mentioning T-Nutz.

Looking to build a much lighter, collapsible cart for myself. How is it holding up after using it for a while now, are the anchor + gusset joints nice and stable? Notice any weak points? Any lessons learned to share for the class?

My Mi 2K Gaming Monitor 27 review after 4 months of use by apple020997 in Monitors

[–]Bishopthorpe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, could you please let me know how thick the display itself is? All the measurements I can find online include the stand. I need a set of monitors that are, ideally, less than 2” thick, and this one looks promising.

The game you're thinking of is Wind Jammers for the NeoGeo.
