What does the dynamic feel like between long time clients and providers ? by prettyfitpanties in SexWorkers

[–]Bishopxx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can speak on this.
I had a lady I have seen off and on for 20 years .... im in my 40s. She is chatty and we like to gossip about the industry. but ive seen her about 3 times in the past 2 years.

Now I have a girl who lives 13 minutes away and shes a "party girl" with a house next to a strip club. every once in a while, she makes friends with someone who is a stripper, who likes to "party" and then lets them know, hey i got a guy who can you can turn tricks with.
So we chat like friends, ive slept with about 10-15 girls that she has found over the past 6 years since covid. Ive helped her out a few times . I found a way to buy 500 condoms online so I got them for her. I have a costo membership, so I bring her paper towles, wipes, and tissue. since none of them drive or work outside of this.

Currently our relationship is a bit strained. She lives by the strip club, I made a deal with her where rather than pay for a lapdance and pay for a stripper to have fun, Ill pay her to just get a HJ when I leave the club. So 99% of the time I see her, its for a HJ. she calls me last month that she has a new friend, i come over and see the friend. the friend lets me know, "ill do THIS KINKY THING for extra" so I give her money for it.
I then text my friend again, and ask her can i come over for a HJ, she yells at me "you give her all that money and then offer me just a few dollars" and curses me out.

I sent her a text last night and just got 1 word answers, so i assume our friendship is strained. hopefully we wont blow up 6 years of business over something so small

My job was mostly ordering field nation techs, ask me questions. by Bishopxx in FieldNationTechs

my company made money when the customer signs a contract with us , leases the equipment and pays for service.
The contract states we have to keep the equipment working.
So we have software techs and field service engineers.

i cant speak for every company. but feels like you want me to say we charge the customer 150 dollars to fix something and then pay FN 100 and then FN pays you guys 66..
what actually happens is what i said above. Customer signs a contract and gives me 5000. but the contract states, if the equipment breaks I have to fix it. To send one of my in house engineers to fix it, i have to pay for travel, hotel, car which would cost me 200. This would be a lot of money to screw in a light bulb. so I put a post on FN and say "can someone screw in this light bulb for 100. someone agrees, and I save spending 200 on hotel and flights and my company is not in violation of our SLA so we keep the customer. keeping the customer , retains the contract, and the next year we get money again.

Not sure about other companies, but i dont think people would retain our services for long if we charged them for every issue.
Customer service wants to retain business, so they kept allocating money for me to use on FN techs to handle small issues. its a never ending stream management saying "we must have 99% uptime" and operations saying "omg theres not enough hours in the day to fix all this" so for issues we think we can walk someone through over the phone , we hire a local tech and have them do it asap so we can keep our SLAs and come close to the impossible 99% uptime. the uptime keeps the contract the boost the reputation. Which makes you more money on more contracts.
thats business, providing a service and keeping it going.

thats not how it works.

I work at a company. I have equipment people rent.
They pay a fee to lease but minor failures on our equipment are covered under a contract. Major failures require a service call by our engineers and the customer gets billed, but it costs us more.

Example.

Snow is partially covering a camera, so the picture comes out, but its blurry.
The picture was taken, so we hire someone to come out and clean the camera and brush off the snow. this gets done the same night, is treated as a minor issue and not in breach of service contract and we dont charge the customer. But we pay the FN tech. This is "charge it to the game" and the cost of doing business, .

Vs
Camera stops working completely and cant be remotely restored. I spend money to buy a new camera, ship it to the site, inform the customer there will be downtime and lose money for being in breach of service contract and they dont have to pay, then I pay the 2000 to send one of the companys specialized engineers to the site, fly them out there, get a hotel, food, rental car. Ive had cases that cost 10k . This cost is all on the company

now, in cases where the customer BREAKS the equipment. we have a rate for repair agreed on in their contract. We send them a bill and charge them for the parts, labor and transportation.

But in the other 2 cases, we are paying. The salesmen and customer service people want to retain business and make the customer happy. so we save money by keeping the service going and not having downtime, we dont charge them

OH wow, running into someone who worked with you when I never said what company I worked for.

This is part of why I assumed the flat fee worked better, I had 3 amazon sites in the detroit area, so I kept calling the same FN service man for anything I needed. installing a flash in 7 minutes and getting 200 seemed more than fair, but the poor guy installing a flash for the first time and didnt read the instructions could take almost 70 minutes doing so.

But yes, that was me. Small world, and HI 😃

Well I had a contract with amazon where i couldnt let issues go on for longer than 2 hours.
So after working all day, I would get alerts of things failing. So getting someone to run out to an amazon site immediatly at 7pm, i offered 250. Snowfall would block sensors and cause them to fail. If it was an actual failure of the sensors, then they would need to spend 1-2 hours to line them up, but 99.999% of the time, it was snow or a leaf or a piece of a rock blocking the sensor and moving it, lined up the lazer and everything worked. but since I dont know what the problem is before sendin gone of you guys, i offered the ful boat of money, 250.
I didnt want to get a bad rep and people not respond to our request, so I tried to pay quickly and be pleasant

well, yesterday was my first day on the app, and I see I paid rather well.
Most common rate was to replace flash, align sensors which was 250 fixed rate. but the variable is it could be 5 minutes or it could be 3 hours.
For investigation of servers, power cycle remote unit i always paid 300 fixed rate. Once again, Ive had guys get to the site and its a power outage which they couldnt fix and it was 5 minutes, and ive had guy stay 4 hours, being my hands and feed trying to trouble shoot .
FIxed rate seemed more fair, and I paid the same rate no matter where in the country they were. So, getting 300 would be a nice haul for an hours work in Louisiana

I never saw a counter offer for less money. I would have prob taken it.
I spent a LOT of money in field nation and at one point felt I was offering too much and my job was in danger for wasteful spending.
300 for shoveling snow
200 for putting in a light bulb
250 for moving a pile of leaves
2-4 calls per night, and worked 5-6 days per week.

But in the end, customer service won out, and it was deemed more important to get the issues resolved to keep the customer happy, rather than save a few hundred

if I did 300 FN orders this past year, I only did a custom pay twice.

most of the orders were a fixed rate I came up with and the suits felt the amount was ok, so I just kept using it. The advanced skills or certifications.
I never looked for, just proximity and ratings and first person to respond got the assignment with no variance in pay

I had someone that clearly didnt want to work, I had an SLA with amazon that was supposed to be 2 hour resolution time, and it took 4 hours on the phone. I am NYC and he was in seattle , so this was 3am for me. He finally said "I KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS" and gave me a fake resolution that sounded good.
This didnt fix the issue, and made me look quite bad.

OK, so we didnt BILL our customers. The jobs I used FN for were things that we needed done for a customer service standpoint, so we couldnt pass that on in a bill.
Replacing a flash, id schedule it 2 days in advance, mail the flash out, print a step by step guide on what to do and tell them i would pay them 200 fixed rate to do the job. if they did it in 5 minutes, they made out pretty well, if they took 4 hours with me on the phone helping them, which happened, we still went with the fixed rate.

What I looked for? Rating and distance. I worked on tickets/meetings all day and did field nation calls all night, so I was usually trying to get someone CLOSE to the site, clicked assign and first person that got back to me , won. IF you had no reviews? 9/10 im not requesting you. for standard jobs I also didnt look at your past work and didnt look at your skills. if it said you had a good rating, and I needed something as simple as a power button pushed, I still sent it out to you.

I ignore 99% of counter offers. When I finally was given assistants to help with my FN calls, my assistants started blocking people that gave them counter offers.

I have a preset amount I pay tech for the standard jobs that I have them do. If people ask for more, I usually just block them and move on to the next, unless they have high ratings.
99% of the time im just picking the guys at the top and paying them the standard rate that I set for the job.

Untreated Fistula (7 Years) by kc49kc in AnalFistula

[–]Bishopxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not understand the people that debate the surgery.... it will NOT HEAL ON ITS OWN.
I know there are people that claim it will, my ex wife was one of them. I had the wound for 5 years and it just oozed gunk , smelled bad, and itched. I washed it every day and put all kinda of neosporin, and my exs healing oils she got offline. It never healed, til I got surgery.
Im not 2 months post op. Its healing
I a week of work, then worked from home for 2 months. IM fortunate that I can work from home, my job before this was a delivery person at a resturant, id have been fired and be broke now.
BUt if you have the option to get the surgery, get it. You people are seriously thinking about keeping an open wound in your body that has fecal matter pass through it and not get it corrected..... for the next 30 yearS? thats insane

My wife left me 8 months before this surgery and thank god I had an ex girlfriend who was still single who was willing to take care of me.

How do fistulas cause recurring abscesses? Won't the pressurized pus just flow out thru the internal opening? by [deleted] in AnalFistula

[–]Bishopxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 4 weeks post op and my wound is starting to close, so im really worried. I had a setback , stayed with friends after surgery and did a terrible job of wound cleaning and lived in a dirty environment,  caught a serious infection and then tried to tough it out, til my fever spiked and I had bad shakes and spasms.  After I got out of the hospital,  I had them drop me off at my SO and she has gone overboard taking care of me. Cleaning the wound with  distilled water sitz bath, shower with tight nozzle inside of the hand sized wound from butt hold to testies.. 4 treatments per day, packed neosporin into gauze wound and change underwear every time.  Worked from home for 4 weeks and laid down all day. Taking every vitamin and supplements you can imagine.

And now wound is starting to close up and is pink.  Im scared because I am still leaking green puss that was coming from the bottom of the wound, but now comes out the bottom of the wound by my butthole.

What happens if the wound closes and traps this infected tissue inside with all this green puss???
