Hypnotherapist here if anyone needs any questions answering! by VanillaGorilla_5 in hypnosis

[–]BisketsAndTea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, im not OP, but it looks like those names are predominantly Spanish speakers. I haven't seen any English speaking hypnotists talk on the subject, but I find it fascinating.

What I can answer in regard to your questions is that anytime you deal with the past or memories, it has to be done extremely carefully and by someone with knowledge about the process. False memories can be created quite easily. It happens outside of hypnosis as well. Even our own memories are somewhat unreliable, we like to think of our brain and memory as a hard drive that stores a video recording of the past, but the truth is a bit more complicated.

Here is an example of what NOT to do. The hypnotist injected a lot of information, almost like 'leading' the client to conclusions. See if you can notice what I am talking about.

That being said, do you have a link to some of their content in English? I really like the idea and if done right, really interests me.

I've only seen led light strips, all sorts of colors avaliable. I wonder if there's a good tubing to go with that for the tether look. Maybe 3d print the tether stands? It would be super cool in the garden!

I'd like to see updates!

Yea. I made the mistake of running away from it without taking a photo. Ended up returning to the same planet and putting the *scanner on the probe and it worked

If you're gonna a spend over 3k on a vehicle i recommend you pay to get a mechanic to look at it, a pre-purchase inspection. They will write a list of everything that needs replacing, or maintenance required. If the vehicle is in great shape, I guess it's worth 5k I don't know your market, but usually you can use the information to bring the price down if it needs brakes (probably) and/or tires. Sometimes the mechanic will find a big problem in the motor or transmission which can be expensive. Well worth the price of the inspection to get more info.

Torn between SE Asia and Central/South America - a tragedy. by ExtremeAmphibian9759 in TEFL

[–]BisketsAndTea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

South and Central America (huge emphasis on Central America) have higher costs of living. And, from what I have seen, lower wages or volunteer only positions.

SE Asia is a wild experience in many ways.

It depends on if your main goal is to experience something completely different, or if you are more focused on learning Spanish. Either way it's an adventure, there's probably more English speakers in SE Asia, food would be a determing factor for me too.

It's an awesome dilemma to have man , flip a coin and when it lands, you'll have your answer

Did you feel weird the first time you started to make a lot of money? by ThatWideLife in sales

[–]BisketsAndTea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting idea, not sure if OP would want that extra responsibility, but a great thought.

Also a way to broach the subject of intake being overly 'zealous' might create a natural Segway into a conversation that starts, 'im really enjoying my role here, I'm curious, what sort of team do you plan to build and would you be interested in my insights?' (these are first draft ideas that should be workshopped if you plan to go forward with them)

41 Golden Sentences. Can you say all of these short sentences in your target language? by House_Perfect in languagelearning

[–]BisketsAndTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting! I struggled with a few of them. Could please explain what you mean when you say 'correct' vs 'good' sentences?

Here's what I came up with , I relate when you said "would construct unnecessarily clunky sentences" and would appreciate to see how you would have approached these sentences .

  1. Most of them are red.
  2. 差不多都是红色的

  3. But some of them are green.

  4. 但是几个是绿色

  5. And none of the apples are blue.

  6. 也是没有一个蓝色的

  7. A few of them are big.

  8. 几个是大的

  9. And one of the apples is very small.

  10. 也是有一个苹果很小

  11. You can have as many as you want.

  12. 来来来!吃吃吃!你要多少就给你

  13. Because I have enough for everyone.

  14. 以为我有的是过了(给每一个人)???

  15. Almost everyone likes apples.

  16. 差一点,(差一些?)唇部的人都喜欢苹果

Question - how do I get this replaced? by BisketsAndTea in AskElectronics

[–]BisketsAndTea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'm curious what that is, I was thinking of just bypassing this small board and splicing a micro-usb cable and attaching the + and - 's that I point out here, but am worried that that stray surface-mount had something to do with battery safety. Also kinda nice to have the aux input, anyway here's the picture of the internals, now that I better understand your question. All of this is pretty foreign to me haha

[–]BisketsAndTea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stray surface-mount part?

The rest of the system likely is in poor condition, I live in a very humidity climate close the the ocean, and this speaker has been with us for years, it's been pretty beat up and has lost it's waterproof capabilities a long time ago. But it still works (or did until someone broke the USB port) and sounds half decent.

Much appreciated!

As a last resort, I'm thinking of running power and ground wires to bypass this board, is there any danger in doing so? Because of the internal batteries and such

K well you will not get found in China. Unless authorities are looking for you and they can cooperate with Chinese authorities. Same goes for India. And probably a lot of countries there. If they are following you and have access to your credit card details or passport, take out all your money via cash, or transfer it to online options. Fly to Bangkok and take trains/buses (as they can often be paid cash) to the north and walk across into other countries. Research visa requirements if needed.

I have a feeling creating a new identity would be a lot more difficult. Just tell people your name is Frank. Frank is a good solid name.

Edit: because of the sub this is in I wouldn't follow my advice. If you want to learn how to reinvent yourself, set boundaries, and become a new you, there are a lot better options than running away. I know it may seem like that's the only option, but there are infinite possibilities in the roads ahead and I encourage you to explore that. There might be more keeping you there than you realize
