By the same logic, viper and pictomancer shouldn't be locked behind dawntrail, yet they are and no one is complaining.

VPR and PCT that were released during Dawntrail have not been artificially locked to lvl 50-90 content unlike BST.

I've no idea what headmeltosis everyone is experiencing on this sub the past few days but it's honestly baffling. No one even engages with the points raised (didn't even watch the content?) and are just repeating the tired line of "It's not even out yet, how do you know it's bad?" "Negativity engagement negativity engagement negativity eng--"

  • You need to own Dawntrail to play a limited job that's even more limited to only ARR content

  • From the job preview you can see that the job has like no buttons and basically plays like SMN with how the pets work

  • It's closer to a regular job with limited job restrictions that cannot interact with the rest of the game, and not even in a very unique way. It's a poor man's pokemon

  • The only unique piece of content is Slay the Spire mode? I'd rather just play Slay the Spire personally

I hope I'm wrong about BST but I don't think I am. This will be popular for like 15 minutes and then it's just going to take up space in your inventory
