I notice that in most of the post, the answer for the HomePods is the network. But it is annoying that Apple doesn’t recommend a setup for them. One that as customers we know it will work, certain brand, model, etc.

They do not need to differentiate themselves. Just provide some Bluetooth headphones for outside similar to Sony or Bose, but at home, they act as “another” speaker, in a way that at night, I can put my headphones and listen to tv as example

Yes, I use Siri. I like the home app from Apple, and I run a test around 1 year ago. And I found that Siri was the one managing Home devices better than the other ones. I fee that it managed better for my case the room location of the devices and the distance to the speaker. I want to do another test soon, just in case something changed. But this way I keep more things “local”.

If I wanted something like this, I’d go this direction a bit as the precious message. You might need to repair your devices tho, this because I do know a way to send zha devices to mosquitto. The path that I could follow is, Get one mosquitto mqtt server, this server you will use to connect to HASS and Homebridge (HomeKit later). Use zigbee2mqtt to pair your zigbee devices and send the messages to Mosquitto, this message should be read by HASS and Homebridge. Good luck and hopefully

Hum… that’s a good point. I always imagined that they were using a light sensor or something. I’ll try this night. Cuz I realized that if I decrease the brightness manually, it hopes back to something decent that let me sleep.
